But in all seriousness: it's not a drill.
This is what happens when you're so incompetent and corrupted that a private army consisting of prisoners (with life-long sentences for most disgusting atrocities) is the most powerful force in your own country.

 

It also shows how those, supposedly, strong and powerful autocracies can collapse in 5 minutes and those weak and fragile democracies outlast them.

We'll see how this unfolds in the next 24 hours.

Prigozhin is fighting for his life and his empire against other russian kleptocrats.

At this point this will either end in death/removal of Shoigu and his clique or death/removal of Prigozhin or a coup and death/removal of Putin. Going back to business as usual is the least possible option.

But, as I said, we'll see soon.

In general, elections are coming soon, regional and presidential. Putin said in an address today that such rebellions can lead to failures at the front, and even to capitulation. An interesting reference.
