Are you kidding? Putin's war has been an absolute gift to the West and they don't want it to stop. Officials from the US have said they want to see the war fought to the last Ukrainian at the cost of bleeding Russia dry and that's exactly what they're getting because Putin's too stupid to realize he's played directly into NATO's hands. There is NOTHING altruistic about NATO scraping their weapons coffers to make sure Ukraine has the confidence to forego suing for peace.

I'm aware that nothing will bring peace, immediate or otherwise, because our leaders don't want it. They don't want any outcome that stops short of the total humiliation and balkanization of Russia, in addition to the public assassination of Putin. Even if Russia were to back down and pull all of their troops out TODAY, crippling sanctions would almost certainly remain in place, and you know that.

True

We should be asking for this war to end and find peace but that is not going to happen

But it's not fair to expect Ukraine to give up its land for some semblance of world peace. Putin will always want more and more land if we let him get away with this. I wish we could somehow make Alexey Navalny the president in Russia.

Nuclear extinction isn't fair to everyone that isn't part of the war, but Slava Ukraini, I guess.

Maybe the US should have thought about this before inventing nuclear weapons and so far being the only country evil enough to use them to begin with.

Tbh idk much about Navalnyi, but idk how it's possible to be more far-right nationalist than Putin right now

Idk why some of you soil your pants as soon as nukes get mentioned because historically it's been the Russian generals that have shown restraint in using them
