illia Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Finally caught up with The Crown. Amazing show, looking forward to the final season
Virgos Groove Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Binged Derry Girls this past week and loved it. Shame it's so short tho.
Taylor fanboy Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Someone please vouch for Succession. I’m almost done with Edie Falco’s The Sopranos and I LOVE it.
hypnodemiluv Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 You’re The Worst season 1 - only romantic show i can watch! Its funny 😁
Navy4Life Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Just finished Please Like Me and it was amazing actually. Definitely recommend it.

I like action series and it was the right amount of episodes, not too many and not too little. It got me entertained. I’m currently just finishing S3… and my binge is slowing down. I heard it gets worse and slower in later seasons
lavenderblo Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 FINALLY got into Succession a few weeks ago and it has taken OVER my life lmao. I watched the pilot in December, didn't like it, and called it a day. I decided to give it another shot earlier this month and I am so happy I did. Forever bummed the internet spoiled *that* but that's what you get for watching a show that's already been airing. Just got to s3 and so I'll definitely be caught up by next Sunday and can hopefully no longer be spoiled by anything happening this season. Also, Yellowjackets. S1 was right down the middle for me and I'm just about to start s2 tonight. I hope it's better but I don't know what I'm expecting. The whole idea that the show is suppose to go on over 5 seasons is wild to me.
Komet Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 The Night Agent is that *****!! What are popcorn flicks called when it's TV? Because that what it was, entertaining and easy-to-follow but without treating the viewer like they're dumb. Plot had a great pacing and they managed to avoid most of the action-spy-letter-agency clichés, I watched it all in like 3 days.

Also same thing happened to me, *that* moment was spoiled to me and I have been watching the show on a weekly basis since season 1 Completely agree on Yellowjackets, the show is MID and overrated, idk why I'm still watching it

Especially for someone who has been watching weekly, I can't even imagine. My biggest issue with things now is NOTHING is sacred with spoilers. I saw an article on social media a half hour after the episode aired with what happened RIGHT in the title. Like, how hard would it have been to put that something big happened but NOT the actual event right in the title. Not cool. I'm guessing a ton of people got spoiled that way and that's such a bummer. I'm really trying with yellowjackets too. I just started s2. Like it's juuuuust interesting enough to keep me invested but...barely. I think the show should have been a mini series and that's it. If it feels like it's already being dragged out in s1, I can't imagine how it'll be in the following seasons.

Yeah, News sites are becoming shameless with thier spoilers, they aren't trying to hide it anymore. My problem with Yellowjackets is that people hyped it too much and I started watching it with high expectations but It felt like a CW show but with better writing so I wasn't too crazy about it , I'll probably check on season 2 once it ends but yeah Idk how the story can go on for 5 seasons
TimeAmpala Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 4 hours ago, McNulty said: a CW show but with better writing basically, I dropped it after S02E02. Finished Person of Interest. Honestly wish writers took themselves more seriously with that show, so many topics left unexplored, leaned way too heavy on the comic aspects which really weren't its stronger suits, you can see the basics being built for Westworld by Nolan, but it's so rough around the edges. Every character was a caricature of itself, an exaggerated version of a realistic personality, especially Root, her presence was cringe throughout, too flamboyant and the one liners from everyone are so forced and on the nose. Ted Lasso... I don't know why I keep watching this. So many funnier shows out there that I dropped for lesser reasons. Roy Kent might be the most annoying TV character in ages.
VeniceBeach Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Orphan Black. Incredible TV show with an engaging and complex plot, I watched 5 seasons in a week or so, highly recommended
Genius1111 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 The Man In The High Castle. I am now at S1 Ep6.
Born to Run Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Finished BEEF. Will pick up Succession from Season 2.

Cause' the acting is mostly terrible and some stupid **** that happens on the show is just But yeah, it's still entertaining.
McNulty Posted May 13, 2023 Posted May 13, 2023 The Crown S05. a slow uneventful season, there are like 2 good episodes and that's it. Weakest season so far by a huge margin

I do think Ali Wong and Steven Yeun were great for the episodes I watched but the writing is way too hamfisted.
lavenderblo Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Caught up on Yellowjackets and it feels like such a shame, but I am so bored. The premise and the actors are so good but they're dragging this out. This should have been a limited series. I do not see how in anyway they can drag this out for the 5 seasons they want it to have.
