The Glory on netflix is soooo good a must watch I fear

Interview with the Vampire S1: B+. This was great, fills the void Hannibal left beyond, Bryan Fuller should go back to it.

High School S1: B-/B. Really enjoyed this. My So-Called Life vibes.

Game of Thrones. Probably the worst show I've ever seen.

Misogynistic crap that might as well be porn with the amount of female nudity, sex scenes and women getting raped. The plot if just horrible, people pretend like the first 4 seasons were a masterpiece, but there's no story at all. Just some ugly men traveling around, talking about wars and raping women. Nothing ever actually happens. Plots like Arya traveling home, Sansa being held hostage at King's Landing, Daenerys freeing cities, Tyrion, Joffrey, Theon etc. being rapists, pedos and sexual predators, Bran looking for some bird, Theon getting tortured etc. all span across 200 episodes without anything of value ever happening and when it finally gets resolved it ends up being underwhelming as hell. Every once in a while they'll kill off one of the main characters and then they expect you to be shocked, but there are about 50 main characters so who cares if you lose a few? Almost none of them are interesting enough to care for and their scenes of death are always pathetic.

I do stan Cersei and Daenerys tho, but the way they just had to get both of them raped and that they barely get to do anything with their power...whew, let me not.

I wanted to watch The Glory on Netflix but the first 10 minutes alone were too much for me so I switched to Extraordinary Attorney Woo instead.

I have to admit that I didn't expect to like it so much.

I'm currently watching "Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre" on Netflix (I'm a big fan of horror anime) and it's quite disturbing but not as scary as I expected...

Sopranos, finished season 2. Love it so far. I hope they dive deeper into Paulie, I feel like his past is very disturbing.

The music and the voices kinda change the vibe I used to get from the manga, but I'm still happy this classic piece finally got a high-budget adaptation it deserves.

Finished the first season of Bom Dia, Veronica (Good Morning, Veronica) and it was nice :soda:

I watched Severance on AppleTV recently. Fantastic series! I have never this obsessed with a TV series since Succession.

Started watching The Last of Us. It's kinda slow so far.

Just finished the 6th episode of the Legend of Vox Machina season 2

The improvements not only from the animation, but the action sequences, story beats and lore is top tier

Honestly this show can go toe to toe with Arcane and A:TLA as one of the best animated series of all time

I need the next episodes now!!

So upset about Reboot on Hulu getting the axe, it was my favorite new comedy last year apart from Abbott.

Just started Shrinking (Apple TV+) today. There are three episodes available so far, and I watched the first two. Not only is it enjoyable and has likable characters but the comedy aspect of it is great as well :gaycat4:  I think it’s the first thing I’ve watched Jason in since How I Met Your Mother, and he’s doing a great job.

I recently saw Infinity Pool. It's a really good horror movie, and Alexander Skarsgard is HOT in it. Jesus Christ.

But... I'm kind of tired of excessive sex and gore in horror films. That sounds pretty ironic, but I truly miss the era of the Conju-verse films. You could tell a scary movie without having to constantly flash the audience or show someone getting stabbed 50 times.

Currently rewatching Squid Game.

I really and truly miss lockdown, isolation and quiet :wanda:

Currently watching the third season of Truth Be Told and it's a great season. Octavia Spencer is fantastic in it. Why isn't there a thread for this?

Currently watching X-Files. I watch it as a kid growing up. Never realized how insane the writers rooms were in the 90’s😆
