effy Posted May 1 Posted May 1 finished goodbye earth and it's one of the most depressing kdramas i've watched, the ending was too realistic~~~ for my taste. a shame because it had a great cast.

Dragonfly Posted May 5 Posted May 5 I kinda wanna do a rewatch of 24. Never seen seasons 7 and beyond. But I'm not sure I have the patience. Especially since they're usually chasing dead ends at the beginning of a season
Bacardo Royale Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Baby Reindeer was a hot mess, I was entertained and pissed off and depressed at the same time 7/10
leonbotstein Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Embarrassing but I only started watching Succession recently after seeing JOB with Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon. Immediately became obsessed. Now the play is going to Broadway, which has been the story with a number of other Succession alums. It attracts real (stage) talent. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/28/theater/job-broadway-peter-friedman-sydney-lemmon.html
spiritboy Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Started watching A Gentleman in Moscow starring Ewan McGregor. First episode was good.
illia Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Finished Game of Thrones and season 8 was certainly... the season of all time 1
Outlaws Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Watched some shows these days that I was sick at home: - Baby Reindeer: Amazing. Incredible acting. 10/10. - The Last Of Us: Another good one. Can't wait for more. 9/10. - Mare Of Easttown: This one was really nice. 9/10. - The Regime: Haven't finished it. It's fun/interesting 7.5/10. - The Outsider: Started so good. But the last 3 episodes killed it for me. 7/10 - Game Of Thrones: Currently on season one. I'm diggin it, liking it. 8/10 so far.
McNulty Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Are Ripley and Lessons in Chemistry good? like it's worth to spend my time on them? because the trailers weren't great and I'm very picky in general

Gwegend Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Is no one watching the GOAT on Prime? I can't find a thread for it lol It's really cute and campy

But the internet wasn't as pleased with the plot and her performance. I hope there will be a second season. I don't know wheter you have seen it or not, but you should go and watch: Special Ops: Lioness 1
Tokki Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Heartstopper - 100/100 Extraordinary attomeny woo - 10000/10 (kinda sad tho) Not other - 10/10
Rose Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) The Fall with Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. First 2 seasons were really good, the third one not so much. Jamie Dornan looks way hotter in this than in the Fifty Shades movies, which is rather disturbing given he plays a serial killer. Edited June 15 by Rose

McNulty Posted June 17 Posted June 17 The Dekalog 10/10 It's a polish show tells 10 different stories based on the ten commandments and created by the great Kieślowski. the show may feels slow to some people, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's incredible. my rank for each story: I > X > VI > V > VIII > IX > VII > IV > II > III
American Nightmare Posted June 17 Posted June 17 The Vampire Diaries. I'm halfway through S3 on my first watch through. I'm shocked at how good it's been. I thought it was going to be like Twilight.

Acuminatus Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) Just started seeing Severance, and wow what a fascinating concept. So many implications I didn't think when I heard of the premise at first. Edited June 20 by Acuminatus 1

Mordecai Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Last Call - 8/10 A documentary series on a homophobic serial killer, such a tragic story and in some ways very scary and sobering but it has some great storytelling and gave really good insight into the culture at the time
