McNulty Posted February 22 Posted February 22 The Fall of the House of Usher started out great then got stale with the repeated story every episode, it's okay overall
Kern Posted February 25 Posted February 25 can someone recommend a tv show/anime that has the 'fantasy adventure/journey with friends' vibe?
Odette Violet Posted February 25 Posted February 25 *84 now as of @flixpatrol Far from perfect but definitely a 9/10 adaptation Now they need to film S2 and get this lil queen

hypnodemiluv Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I watched G'wed and i must say i like it! It's lightheart teen comedy-drama. It caught my attention.
Kamaotori Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) The last show I've watched was "Superstition" on Netflix. It started pretty well, but then choices were made. I won't even comment on the cheap CGI in the final episode. As If I was watching Charmed 20 years ago Edited March 7 by Kamaotori
Walk_Away21 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Back in my Twin Peaks era @Reverse Warholian. WHO KILLED LAURA PALMER. Edited March 10 by Walk_Away21 1

Johnny Jacobs Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Fellow Travelers 9/10 Id give it a 10 but Hawk aint **** And im tired about that every gay tv/movie = tragic ending. Enough
Curaga Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Finally watched Cowboy Bebop! It was fantastic, 10/10, but my wig didn’t fly quite as far as it did when I watched NGE last year.
Suilen Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I'm finally done with the American remake of Eyewitness. In many ways, it was an improvement over the Norwegian original (actors, the production value, the extended storylines), like one of the main characters there literally looked a young version of Boris Johnson, but I think I prefer the original setting to the US, and certain parts were adapted quite awkwardly. At least the queer part felt more pronounced as the original left some things ambiguous.

It's so obviously inspired by LOST, the similarities are uncanny and it borrows a lot of elements from the show. I started watching this after your rec & because I LOVE small town mysteries, people trapped in place etc Once Upon A Time, Lost. I really enjoyed it overall, but kinda confused about what direction they are going to take it in season 3. I feel like it needs more simplification instead of introducing a new problem every other episode i.e the hallucinations were never explained, amoung other things. And I feel like the monsters have taken a back seat, I would like to see more of that.

TryMe Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Special Ops: Lioness 8.5/10 Really enjoyed it. It's fast paced, multiple interesting storylines, likeable characters, beautifully shot. Highly reccommend if you like action

bennythatway Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Apple TV may not have a lot of shows, but the ones they have are top tier TV. Here are my top 10 shows: Constellation - mind boggling scifi drama Foundation - visually stunning scifi fantasy Invasion - season 1 was phenomenal Severance - bit of a slow burner but worth it Dear Edward - if you need a good cry, boy survived plane crash Silo - it gets better as the season progresses Monarch - origin of godzilla The Changeling - love this fantasy horror Shrinking - funny but will make u weep Ted Lasso - it deserves all the awards 1
