Johnny Jacobs Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Damsel 7/10 I like it. Millie slayed as always. The plot was great overall. A bit cringe at times but overall i enjoyed it The dragon slayed chile
Into The Void Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Quarantine. 9/10 That was intense was on the edge of my seat
EdgeofTeeth Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Théo & Hugo (8.5/10) Can't believe I had never heard of this before I found it. Kind of like a gay Before Sunrise that is wonderfully acted and feels realistic without the usual "gay tragedy" narrative. Dune: Part Two (8.5/10) An amazing technical achievement with some of the best production and sound design I've seen in a film. Watching this in IMAX was a RIDE. It's not the perfect masterpiece I was told it was tho, the pacing is odd and disjointed at times. Paris, Texas (9/10) Gorgeously shot and has some of the most beautiful images I've seen in a film from its time. A subtle and emotional story about the fragility of relationships, family, and the lasting consequences of taking those we love for granted.
Stuart Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I just finished watching Madame Web. I felt like I was watching Final Destination meets Spider-Man and X-Men.

Johnny Jacobs Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Get Out. Pretty predictable plot. You could've guessed the whole thing but overall a good watch. Kinda overrated ngl
EdgeofTeeth Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Magnolia (9/10) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (7.5/10) Killing Them Softly (7/10) – This movie got a lot of s**t when it came out but it's lowkey ahead of its time. There Will Be Blood (10/10) – Truly the masterpiece that everyone says it is. Fury (8.5/10) – Haven't watched a war movie in forever and was pleasantly surprised by this one. Simultaneously brutal and gorgeous. The Matrix (8/10)
Capris Groove Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Brilliant. A total home run. This type of film hasn't been made in over 20 years and these days I'm a little tired of all the gritty 'n raw. This one is warm, human, simple, and beautiful to look at. 1
Virgos Groove Posted March 27 Posted March 27 One of the funniest and most heartwarming movies I've seen in ages. 1
