they refused to refund mine. shipping it back costed almost the same if not a bit more than the order itself and they said I would have to pay that. they wouldn't refund my return fees. his store IS a scam - please be careful to those who have ordered.

Wtf  But this was about Target, I should’ve clarified that  I honestly don’t even want a replacement at this point because I’m tired of telling them how to properly package vinyl

since you are from the US, would it not be easier to get them in stores to make sure they're pristine? that's what I would do if I didn't have everything shipped from Europe or the US to South America

 

like from this thread I only know @Popboi. is also Chilean and he collects vinyl, so he can also comment on this. the stores here do NOT let you return stuff, and if they do, the returns fees are on YOU. plus they require you to send them back with tracking, etc. and believe it or not, shipping two records from Chile to the US can cost up to $130 USD

for example, I just had the biggest argument with Urban Outfitters as they offered what it seemed to be like a good deal, $40 for shipping and prepaid customs, then they completely ignored that and I had to pay customs for an oder, and it came looking like someone had beaten it up to death.

 

they asked me to return it, they were "we're gonna give you a prepaid return label" until I mentioned my order was international. they switched like.... f words after I mentioned that.

they say I'm making that up and sent my order via standard shipping, so I ended up having to pay a lot of customs because of their mistake.

they have the worst customer service EVER.

Have you ever tried using a forwarding service company? That's how i bring vinyl to Nicaragua and i usually pay under 20 usd per vinyl

I decided on just getting Harry's House and Dance Fever from Target using the trick. They better arrive in perfect condition on Thursday and if they don't at least I know that my local Target is overflowing with copies of both but hopefully I won't be forced to go in store and act like a Karen

That’s because your order was fulfilled at a target store rather than their warehouse.

It’s probably faster and less costly for Target to fulfill the customer’s online orders.

It would be, but you can’t chose store pickup as an option for preorders and if I could someone from the store would pick up the copy for me. I prefer to get it myself, but the only way that’ll work is if I allow the records to come and then exchange them in stores (which I don’t care to do at this point)

As a Target employee I would have to highly recommend ordering it as a pick up order if possible to avoid the mess that comes with getting it shipped from a store

Oh my god not this  it covers US taxes but not import fees.

 

From experience $30 = USPS/Correos Chile with almost 0 chances of import fee, $40 DHL with 100% chances of fees for absolutely anything and $60… they just lie and send using USPS cause they know they won’t charge service and import fees 

 

Last time I ordered from them and had issues, they offered me a 20% refund for damages, unless I sent back, which ofc it was impossible.
