i got Shakira's mexican pressing of her albums, they're horrible, sounds awful, Laundry Service is unlistenable and i played them on a high end turntable. Yes they look pretty, but listen to them is a nightmare.

Apparently they were doing personally signed Rita Ora albums and a collector on Instagram who has had personally signed stuff from Rita before has said that the handwriting is different from the authentic signature he's got in person (his username is vinylownik, the comparison pics are still up on his Instagram stories I believe). It seems that the same thing has happened with Ellie Goulding and Sophie Ellis bextor.

At first they tried to tell him that these were authentic but now that the guy demands a refund they ask him to destroy the record instead of sending it back  messy

I just checked... that's wild! Not sure what to make of it, but I'll be thinking twice next time I order something signed from them

I’m kinda obsessed with clear vinyl. People say it’s boring and too common nowadays, but it is so cool to have music in its physical form imprinted on a thin piece of ”ice”. I look through it and always wonder how it’s possible that it has music on it. Crystal clear is the new black. Really cool

i guess it depends on how clear the pressing is done, for example, the SPICEWORLD 25 clear pressing is UGLY, but Madonna's Like a virgin and true blue are gorgeous

My plan is to sign up for a month at end of August (the 28th, when I get paid), get the September essential and leave VMP.
