my cream butterfly 4LP came in. it's so heavy and high quality. my main gripe with it is that the album cover on the front is low res. you can see all the pixels on it, especially around her hair. they should've got a high res image of the cover, and the vinyl doesn't even look cream coloured to me, it's pretty much just white. I got number 24. i'm definitely not gonna send my number of the vinyl it to that mariah museum

VMP are hopeless when it comes to Mariah pressings and artwork.

 

The same problem occurred with the Daydream release and the low res cover

i honestly don't mind that. it's a nice touch that they took the time to hand number it. but i get why other people might hate it, VMP always seems to mess up their mariah releases

From the 20 copies I saw some of them came with the small disney+ hype sticker and some of them did not. I immediately thought that was odd. So when I looked for other differences I noticed the ones without the sticker have "Made in Mexico" printed on the outer shrink. And then I weighed em. The record stores just receive whatever number of copies they ordered. RSD considers them all the same.

 

So....after waiting in line Saturday morning and when its your turn to get to that milk crate full of anxiety and excitement, I suggest looking for a copy of it with the Disney+ hype sticker.
