Nope! If you’re like me, I originally thought that they would ship them out around the time of the shows (which just took place in the past couple weeks) but it turns out they were shipped to Australian residents shortly after the orders were placed and nobody else got them.

 

Their customer service is extremely extremely rude and they absolutely refuse any sort of refund, so don’t bother with them. You can try contacting your bank but mine was only able to offer a refund 60 days after the charge and because of the time I wasted with their customer service, I wasn’t in the 60 day window anymore.

 

It’s not that it was an insane amount of money or anything but it actually makes me FUME that this company thinks they can keep my money for literally no reason.

Urban Outfitters has some ******* nerve attempting to charge $5 to return records back because I changed my mind, so since they want to play that game, I bent the damn record and put it down as damaged

They had it coming. First they take up the price of shipping, then upped the threshold for the price of shipment, and now this…TUH. I was going to just return it and try to grab a copy in stores, but that pissed me off, so the petty jumped out

Wow i didn't know she left Sumerian. I totally understand, I just wish there was some way she was able to officially release it herself because i'm sure she would after  realizing the demand, but it makes sense she isn't approving of the release since she doesn't own the masters- I guess I just wished she owned her own work, I'd be pissed off if I was in her situation and my old record label was repressing and selling and profiting off of my debut album on vinyl when I wouldn't make a penny and don't even own the masters or publishing rights to it. I think she hasn't worked with them to repress either since she has had a bad experience with them in general. But yes I do completely agree with your first part of your post- if it was an album I really wanted I was never able to get on vinyl or that was insanely rare such as this one then I would also buy it.

Josey Records in Dallas is so fun, they have such a huge dance section.  I was there for about 45 minutes yesterday and it was only enough time to make it through about half of their records in that genre.

 

I did manage to pick up 12'' singles of Kim Wilde's You Keep Me Hangin' On, Mel C's I Turn To You, and Daniel Bedingfield's Gotta Get Thru This as well as an early pressing of Adeva's album Love or Lust.

I'm pretty sure she's still profiting off the sales and streams of Poppy.Computer and AIAG, when Girls in Bikinis went viral she embraced the trend even though she was deep into her metal era. I mean it does suck but that's music industry unfortunately.

I also remembered that Mad Decent planned to release a picture vinyl of Girls In Bikinis/Fashion After All for RSD but it was cancelled and apparently Poppy was made aware of these release?
