Tbh LOVE DIVE is not that far from NEXT LEVEL success-wise.

19th week on Gaon:

LD: #4 - 22M (478M total)

NL: #3 - 19M (491M total)

Add to that Spotify and AM numbers and LD being actual hit in Japan and yeah some might argue it's bigger.

4th gen girlies are much more fun to compare than 3rd gen. The competition is tight. :jonny:

The amount of notable users here who were aespa stans a few months ago/ year ago but are now dragging them for IVE:deadbanana2: I don’t even stan them like that but the success stanning here is very real and frankly quite disturbing :rip:

Note how not even a week ago people were saying IVE were replaced and over due to NewJennies success and now that AL is showing signs of doing well they're all hopping onto the IVE bandwagon and calling them BP successors (when they were calling NJ their successors last week) :deadbanana4:

The way this thread completely DITCHED StayC too when BM flopped when last year people were calling them the next Twice. Just sad

1 million applications and yet AESPA can’t enter in AM Japan top 10???

Something doesn’t add up :deadbanana4:

Ikr. When I’m booking concert tickets I usually have multiple tabs/devices open.

920k applications ≠ 920k people :rip:

So where are these 920k applicants when it’s time to STREAM the song ??

They're elderly people who only buy album and listen with their cd walkman I guess :cm:

you guys display obsessive behaviour

admitting that one group is doing better than other group doesn’t mean certain person stop liking the group that did better before

BTS is bigger than Blackpink! BTS has better charting singles both in US and in Korea! BTS has bigger songs on Spotify! Does that mean I don’t like BP? NO

They're consuming the album. :michael: Savage EP went top 10 on Oricon weekly right after they did their performance there. It's not their fault people would rather buy their music than stream quick little singles

It’s obvious 1M people were not sitting at their computer trying to buy tickets. SM would have immediately booked Dome dates if that was the case. But the way y’all OBSESS over SM media play like it’s the stans or girls who are doing it :deadbanana4:

“Media play about Japan showcase”

”media play about Coachella”

”media play about higher than BP”

Attack SM, not Aespa you morons.

That being said, I refuse to believe any stans genuinely believe SM’s media play. The only thing anyone should brag about are factual numbers :rip:

Looking back, Lessakurafim debut is forgettable if it werent for Garam gate

FEARLESS wasn't as explosive as IVE or NJ's debuts but it has great streaming legs, two b-sides over 20 million streams (one went TikTok viral) and an iconic choreo :clap3:

:clap3:

AL is doing so well but I fear most of this is residual success from Love Dive

Honestly even for third gen. RF, DDDD all had similar stats in Korea and it’ll most likely be the same for this gen but CU was bigger due to more impact. NL’s the same.
