Is it because of distribution deals? 

 

It's because not all albums are for sale. You can stream them without paying.

There's no official source for China sales (unlike Oricon or Gaon) so not all info on Twitter are reliable  I can make the same tweet myself

 

Even Twice have number ones on QQ and they’re still irrelevant in china 

and you can check sales on QQ music too so....even the streams.

Many of Kpop artists don't have sales available on QQ. And as explained by some other users, some apparently don't have albums available for sale there .

 

If they have number ones, they are not irrelevant like... After Like is the only Kpop song charting in QQ music chart at the moment but they do not make it to those Twitter charts either because their sales are not available.

The same reason Jeongyeon is currently the least popular member of Twice… 

I feel really bad for the girl, when you’re in a group with the likes of Wonyoung, even being a normal weight will look “fat” in comparison. 
 

Hope she gets her Jihyo/Wendy moment soon.

Despite kpop's efforts with making skinny a synonym for pretty, the past couple years have seen many companies debut plus-size girls.  Wonder how many trend searching managers lost their jobs after the debut of Neugenes.

I wish those sm recording studio bts started when EXO was active would have loved to see them, their producers would always rave about how great they are in studios and I really wanted to see them doing the harmonies and layering for their songs

Watching After Like video again and it’s awful. Did the director just say “flip your hair” in EVERY scene?  The entire video is them doing hair flips. It’s so bad. Shame because I’m kinda addicted to the song now.
