I remember someone having this quote in their signature:bibliahh:They will go as unnoticed as CLC did for cube:dies: At least you won in the long run and they are now the nation's flop:deadbanana4:

I think most people hated me at my peak ***** phase in like 2015-2016 :deadbanana4:

There would literally be times when I had like 5 people dragging me collectively for PAGES :deadbanana2:

And still, never sat and cried like a baby because I knew I instigated it (especially with TWICE fans).

If you want to talk ****, then talk your ****. But don't go crying like a baby when you get responses. I completely knew why TWICE fans hated me :dies:

Omg it was me :ahh:

@Gaia also said TWICE would flop with teletubbie tunes. I thought it was only half true... until Scientist :jonny: we also had a feud cuz he was a Soojin hater and then she got kicked out. The way he keeps winning :jonny:

To be fair, I said they'd have relatively short careers if they kept spamming teletubbie music like Knock Knock and it was true tho. They exhausted their image extremely quickly like I said would happen and yet Korea didn't want to embrace any other concept from them (FS should have smashed). I feel like although I was especially mean towards TWICE, I always tried to have constructive criticism instead of 100% flamebait like this thread is now :deadbanana2:

fffffffffffffffffff I still cackle at everyone coming for me for hating Soojin and turns out I was right to dislike ha :sistrens:

I would pay money to see Mel and Zack fight in here, like imagine the mess:dies: Like have they ever exchanged words with each other in here? :skull: It's kinda odd that they don't interact especially when they are the main SM and YG company stans in here, like shouldn't they be arch enemies?

We've tussled a couple times

but he hasn't said anything recently that required me to tug on his wig

I fee1 like he's been treading lightly ever since I told him I'm not gonna hold back on aespa anymore

He is so iconic tbh, he also had a hate boner for Joy during her actress wannabe era when she skipped red velvet's schedules:lmao:

lakjsdfljasdf

I remember my anti-Joy era :dies: I was so mad at ha prioritizing flop dramas over the group at their peak :lmao:

I had an anti-Taeyeon era too during Why because I thought it was hot garbo. Now its one of my faves. I lost :ahh:

I've had some moments in this thread when I was in school. Guess I had nothing better going on :deadbanana2:

You don't like Jaejae? I personally think it's good, she's a Sone and most of her interviews are new and not rehashed stories of the same thing over and over again. Like as much as I like Yoo Quiz last year for the nostalgia and reunion, there were just too many known information that old sones know already.

Jaejae episodes with Tiffany and Taeyeon are probably one of my fave interviews ever. Also I actually love how she riled up Jessica stans so much just because she covered her face from their pictures lol :fan:

I don't mind the interviews itself, but I agree with what @Zack said. Her personality is really annoying with all the screaming and whining all the time and the fangirling gets tiring after 2 minutes of interview.

It's a shame that Jessi left Showterview so recently, because that would be one I'd love to see SNSD doing.

I'm actually so curious as to how Stray Kids blew up to this extent.

When they first debut I wrote them off as a BTS copy. JYP is never subtle when they copy other groups' concepts.

But they actually have a starkly huge following outside of Korea and their Korean fanbase seems to be growing. Their digital scores in Korea suck but given how barely anyone domestically takes melon seriously anymore and digital scores don't mean much for profit-making I don't think it's that much of a setback.

Not to mention they had one member leave and one member put on blast for being a high school bully. And yet :deadbanana4:

It's crazy, right? I think it's just a combo of them being likeable enough, catchy noise music, looks and with BTS's hiatus, timing. Their fans probably get people into the fold the same way ARMY'S do. If they manage another song that gets all the army's attention while their favorite boy group is away they'll be the biggest international boy band. Like how BTS took a huge chunk of big bang's, Exo-l, and directioners.

BP concert in Brazil when?

Brazilian Blinks have been some of most loyal and have been asking for them to come

BP could easily book a stadium there

I blocked that user so I didn't see what they wrote but yeah agree to disagree. Personally there's plenty of other more annoying shows and hosts (ex: Knowing Bros and Weekly Idol)

Jessi would definitely not give the same in depth interview as Jaejae. No way in hell would Jessi know about Kkok, 12 Step, Oppa Nappa or Beautiful Girls for example to ask Yuri/Tiffany what they thought of those songs or how Taeyeon react when fans actually know that she created layers of backing vocals for her concerts.

Even when Tiffany was on Jessi showterview the questions were very basic with useless make up battle. The only good thing was we got to see the close bond between Jessi and Fany

So yeah as an old sone who's pretty much  fed up with redundant questions, I wouldn't trade MMTG for any other interview.

How did Stray Kids pull this off?

Woojin (the member who left the group) was only in the group for 2 years, and left when the group was still nugu. They blew up 2 comebacks later after he left, so he never got to be a part of "big success" they have today, which is why it hasn't affected anything, since most people were introduced to Stray Kids without him.

And with the whole bullying scandal, some of Hyunjin's old classmates came to his defense and said that it was a 2 sided beef and not a bullying scandal. However Hyunjin still meet up with the supposed victim and apologized and went on hiatus, which is why he wasn't in "Kingdom". A lot netizens are still on Hyunjin's neck though.

Stray kids blew up with "God's Menu" and them having creative control also plays a huge part. Like everything they do is THEM. Their group dynamic is very interesting, since all 8 of them have big and unique personalities. All the members are very easy to distinguish as well, since they have unique visuals and are a very good looking. The way they have this power to suck you in, like they are the only boy group that I truly stan :dies: Hyunjin and Felix are also the most popular male idols from the 4th gen and they are very big stan attractors as well. Like imagine having 2 V's in a group.

The Grammys also just released an interview with Stray kids an hour ago, where they talk about how them having creative control has contributed to their success :clap3:

Kpop fandom is huge in Brazil but unfortunetly our currency is currently very weak so I think companies prioritize other countries if they can.

Wonyoung can get the screams from those middle aged Korean men at the baseball game, while Jisoo can use the Dior CEO's as doormats
