To not have one of the country's biggest label's behind them. That would make them true underdogs. Personally I don't care about that, I just think they're very similar to early BTS concept wise so their trajectory makes sense to me.

It's impossible, the BTS formula includes some ugly but unique looking members so non Asians can easily distinguish them. Maybe that's why SM boygroups are flopping outside of Asia, the way SM groups performing is just not Ifans style and their looks too. They're are just too "clean" and too perfect like a machine on stage that non-Asian fans cannot relate to them.

They are from JYP, already an advantage in terms of marketing and promotion and name-value attached. BTS were from an unknown company who were taking a risk and going in blindly. You see the difference?

the ugly part does not relate to them but ENHYPEN has members with pretty distinguishable looks and their music is also above all that noise you see from these 4th gen bgs. Plus, they’re also 7 members like BTS  either them or TXT I guess. All the other 4th gen boygroups are either too many members for the global audience or simply noisy music that sounds the same if you don’t catch the group’s name before listening to them.

but stray kids are kinda leading globally for now since they’ve had a headstart and made it big in 2020 before the other groups, although they need to graduate from the noise if they want to keep growing their fanbase.

She originally trained as an actress 

I think she is beautiful enough, she is more exotic/interesting looking than most Korean actresses I spose though. I just think she needs more casual fans before her solo and I say that as a Stan lol. 

 

The bob kinda gives her that elegant actress feel!

This is mostly true but there was that entire era drunk-dazed where Heeseung and Jake had similar haircuts so new fans (including myself) thought they looked too similar.

Yeah they do have similar sharp facial shapes and features, now that you pointed it out  but I feel like the rest of the group won’t have that problem, that’s honestly saying something when all kpop idols look the same for foreign non-kpop people.

Stray Kids are the closest to BTS, so they will be the ones to lead for now. I don't see it for TXT,their emo image is too niche.

The only ones with distinguishable features are Niki because Dr Kim didn’t get to touch him too much and Sunoo because the hunty is coming through even in photos. 
I could tell the difference between all 11 members of The Gayz after a week of getting into them but I still have troubles with Enhypen after almost a year.

The American tour circuit is so over saturated atm  I know companies love jumping on trends but some groups should rly tour Europe, SEA or Australia too. I’m sure there’s demand. JYP rly should of done a few more tour stops for Twice.
