I wonder if YG will actually treat BABYMONSTER better and let the girls release music frequently unlike 2NE1 and BLACKPINK? and if teddy's not involved with them too everything might be different this time?

but judging that 2012'd baemon introduction/teaser its the same old yg :toofunny2:

i'm still gonna wait for the official releases before I judge them but its really not looking good so far. when bp's first teaser was released you can see the 4 of them already looking powerful and ready to take over the world. but then again, we really havent seen anything yet from this teaser so yeah

I think this comeback is their old team and they are hiring their new team in January so we will get at least two mini albums before they disband :intoit:

Well let’s hope the music is better this time

I think it has a lot to do with their age

the BP girls were at least 17-19 years old so more grown-up and they had a better understanding of what they want already

but when you're like 13 or 14 it's completely different

The Thai trainee Lisa was talking about is pharita. Canny is like 14 years old.

Uhm those videos look like kids talent shows  And tbh i dont mean it in a mean way.. if they are literally like 13 than it makes sense
I think YG saw IVE having the massive kids fanbase and wanna go for the same :gaycat6:
just gotta accept that not every group is for every audience, im sure they will have a big u16 following

Yeah I know and I still think the same. Like Britney parents, Wonyoung parents, Boa parents etcc…  all these stages parents who are putting their kids in this industry this young…

Also most Korean Kpop fans are middle schoolers/freshman too.

I think that there is a difference between putting kids in dance/singing academies (who are similar to sport academies) versus pushing them doing modeling, fashion shows and doing a group project or whatever it was…

I don't think it has smthn to do with IVE :rip: YG back in 2020 already said that the new girl group will be teenagers, that was before IVE debuted. And apparently the baemon girls have undergone 4-5 years of "intensive trainings" based on that osen article few days ago.. but you are definitely right about the kids market. The BP girls were also supposed to debut back in 2012 as well when Jennie was like 14-16 (??) These old men are weird!

I’m pretty sure they would stop debuting kids if y’all stopped stanning them idk
