The Thai trainee Lisa was talking about is pharita. Canny is like 14 years old.

Uhm those videos look like kids talent shows  And tbh i dont mean it in a mean way.. if they are literally like 13 than it makes sense
I think YG saw IVE having the massive kids fanbase and wanna go for the same :gaycat6:
just gotta accept that not every group is for every audience, im sure they will have a big u16 following

Most of the 3rd and 4th gen idols started ain academy as young as 10 years old.

Yeah I know and I still think the same. Like Britney parents, Wonyoung parents, Boa parents etcc…  all these stages parents who are putting their kids in this industry this young…

Also most Korean Kpop fans are middle schoolers/freshman too.

I think that there is a difference between putting kids in dance/singing academies (who are similar to sport academies) versus pushing them doing modeling, fashion shows and doing a group project or whatever it was…

I don't think it has smthn to do with IVE :rip: YG back in 2020 already said that the new girl group will be teenagers, that was before IVE debuted. And apparently the baemon girls have undergone 4-5 years of "intensive trainings" based on that osen article few days ago.. but you are definitely right about the kids market. The BP girls were also supposed to debut back in 2012 as well when Jennie was like 14-16 (??) These old men are weird!

I’m pretty sure they would stop debuting kids if y’all stopped stanning them idk

Those academies like are tied with companies. For example Millenium Dance Academy (the one owned by Minzy) all year around they have open audition for YG, BELIFT, Jellyfish, etc... The last one was in october and the age to enter those auditions is 10-12 years old. Those companies wants to snatch them kids young to train them the fastest and debut them the fastest as a group shelf life gets shorter and shorter.

Well.... Super Junior is still the worst kpop group name in existence, if that makes it better for Baemon.... . :toofunny3:

The only thing that made me gag in that video is YHS face -and it was literally. It was literally just grabbing whoever was willing in YG and say go and say

some kind stuff. I don't doubt Jenlisa and the pinks in general want to give them what they never experienced- kind and supportive female seniors during their rookie era, but aside from Lisa saying she gave tips and hung out with Priya, everything still feels scripted to me. Like get in the studio and dance around a bit with them for the teaser rollout. :deadbanana2:But they will probably have a full skill showcase rollout in Jan since this was so yawn. I will judge then.

And poor girls, knetz already dragging them because YHS couldn't curb his main character syndrome. That mean "cleared" his charges and then immediately went to dropping the gg. They will do well as long as he goes into hiding again, and they have like, half of Jenlisa's presence and 3rd of BPs overall star power/charisma tho.

BP(specifically Lalegend) smacking you in the face with their dance practice while BJs were waving around torches and pitchforks was so iconic tho.

This yet people on twitter and here will forgot all about it if the songs good and if they 'serve' :ace:

i feel like liking a song is okay but actively stanning them is a bit too much

So two of them? Wow okay, if it’s nothing corny like aespa I’ll be excited

I just realized only 3/7 of the group are korean... doesn't matter to me obviously but when it comes to securing the domestic market especially after they're coming last with a strong line up of competitors and NewJennie's living out the strongest debut amongst ggs since Blackpink themselves...... good luck.

:deadbanana2:

They're gonna need a miracle song basically.
