Honestly Visuelle and KariN/A should get promoted to lead vocalists, cause it's kinda disrespectful to their vocal talents especially when they are better singers than 95 % of 4th gen Kpop

people saying they cannot tell apart NewJeans members’ voices and that they lack vocal quality  please, they sound ethereal and perfect on this track! not everything in kpop needs to be about squeaky and forced singing and I’m really happy they kept the song the way it is now! very nostalgic, very unique, they are here to stay and slay!

It's kinda funny that you mention that, cause people like Taylor, JLo etc. are actually better singers than 90 % of Kpop especially 4th gen, it's just that the vocal standard in the West is way higher. If they were to debut in a Kpop group instead, then they would've both been lead-vocalists at least

I didn’t realise Girls was dragged so much in here. It’s probably my favourite aespa song

 

also NewJeans have really nice vocals to me… they have lovely voices which match their sound perfectly

Funny, I personally think they diminished the iconic parts and the added beats sound outdated. To me the song sounds like commercials from the early 00s

hmm all those women have distinct voices while NJ feels like one person sings the whole thing

 

imo their songs are cute but overrated bc of the concept which is good. The budget is there.
