Comparing IVE as a whole to other girl groups in the past few days, they can be lucky they can use Wongyoung's popularity as a concept.  Skills wise their only ace Yujin and conceptually they are one of the weakest girl groups out there

Cheer Up is bigger than TT and pretty much launched TWICE into superstardom and TT solidified their ultra cute and semi-gay concepts that groups would follow suit and copy for like 5 years so I think CU was the logical choice

Victoria made a 3 word Instagram post last year for f(x) 12th anniversary. That's the last time she acknowledged the group I think. She already deleted the group from her bios and hasn't performed with them since 2016.

 

I don't think she's spoken to the other girls for at least 3 years, at least from what is known publicly. The other 3 seem to be in contact sometimes but they never mention Victoria.

What's up with the camera crew sabotaging every MAMA performance  They literally zoomed out every time a group had a dance break, and we couldn't see anything 

 

But anyways, Stray Kids having the best performance of the night was expected and they were the only group to sing LIVE as well

I think everybody knows that IVE is definitely the conceptually weakest top 4th gen gg, and their skills seem to be not on par to the other 4th gen ggs mainly because Wonyoung is pushed to the front and center often in place of Liz’s vocals or Yujin’s performance abilities. But that hasn’t stopped them from being popular. Starship just needs to start utilizing the other members properly now that Wonyoung’s fame has exposed the group to a certain height. The girls still have immense potential to grow in terms of their skills. They’re not hitting the wall anytime soon.
