Zack Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 When Joy came in with "make your day" the pre-chorus whew It's a bit of a chaotic song on first listen but it's on brand for them and the chorus is definitely memorable. It's not one of those songs you forget how it sounds as soon as it finishes.
Sugden Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 the good about red velvet is that if you dont like a song there is always new music by them
Aslan Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 i don’t know if birthday was really the best choice of song to come back too in the climate of love dive, after like, attention, hypeboy, antifragile maybe it will grow on me, maybe it won’t…
Sugden Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 the girlies want basic ass pop music like ive so i think this might flop
godmess Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 What are you guys talking about birthday is actually their first good title in ages
Sugden Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 the way ON A RIDE would be a so much better as title wtffffffff it even fits the whole carnival theme SM WHEN I CATCH YOU

Sheegs Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Birthday is kinda unremarkable for an RV title track
Cotton Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 I feel like the title is a grower, there's parts I like but it's lacking something idk

Sugden Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 i cant get over that fact that it would be a perfect title
JoanneActII Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 birthday is so good way better than feel my rhythm
Raspy Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 The Bside as usual are perfection Birthday tho just ew.. messy ass song Atleast zimzalabim is iconic and unforgettable

(Lightsum we are looking at you before your disbandment) They lowkey paved the way for Yukika I know I shouldn't be mad at them, but I'm kinda am. Hear me out: cube are p***y and it's easy to go against them. 5 of them are songwriters and 2 are producers. When cube dropped the ball on them they could have tried to save the group, but they just waited. I mean half of BTOB, I-DLE & PENTAGON albums were rejected by cube at first but they fought for it. The other example is Kino was refused to debut as a solo so he made a soundcloud posting songs after songs on it until cube caved and let him debut. Still wondering why Jamie was moaning at the end of the song.

Aslan Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 FMR had that classique sound to it tho. With the sample, joys part and Wendy’s vocals it made for an enjoyable and memorable song whereas birthday just sounds ok but it’s just missing that ‘wow’ factor. on a ride and bye bye are great tho.
Sheep Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) Me @ Wendy rn I actually missed them being this campy it feels nostalgic at this point. See you all when it sells well and you pretend you never slandered it on first listen. Edited November 28, 2022 by Century

Comedor Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Red Velvet bad song, boring video, uninspiring choreo.
lander Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Birthday is a mess they are 0/2 this year for me
Spears_Stan Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 I like birthday, and the bsides are good too, the only song i'm not feeling is "celebrate" but it could be a grower
playboi Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) red velvet album sucks, somehow it’s even worse than the FMR one. the queendom album remains their best project since the perfect velvet Edited November 28, 2022 by playboi
