see, this is why none of these current fads are gonna stick around. all of them are disposable dance performance units that have a 6 year shelf life  why would you not wanna see singers do their profession? if you wanna see dancers go to a dance recital

They can definitely stick around if they have good music and people listen to it. Lesserafim released one of the best minis of the year and they’re one of the best performance groups in the current gen. The two things can co-exist  

also the dance recital comment can be applied to the singers as well. This is kpop, if you want to see strictly vocalists, better go to broadway or opera singers.

People act it’s only applying to kpop, but even A+ singers aren’t a thing anymore in the west, Olivia is one of the top artists right now despite her weak vocals. Taylor stomps everyone and she has never been popular for singing skills.
Some groups can sing but either they’re paying dust for being in a nugu company or they release shitty music. Talent will never won over success.

Hmm not a really good comparaison. Even if Olivia and Taylor are weak singers they’re way more involved in every aspect of their music. They write, compose, play instruments, have a lot of inputs on the creative direction of their Albums, mvs, stages etcc . 
 

Meanwhile most idols who can’t even sing just records song learn choreography and that’s it.

OMG, the emancipation of LOONA

this is absolutely wild. I don’t think we’ve ever seen something on this level where an entire group (I’m sure Hyunjin and Vivi are to come) have filed against their company. There’s the TVXQ situation, but even that was only 3 members vs at least 9 in this case
