We have newbies outselling and outdoing Twice not only in korea but also Internationally, it will just a matter of time that they could catch up with BlackPink but no point of explaining the obvious to you because you will remain in denial anyway but I wonder if baemon will see the same success as NJ or IVE (that if they are lucky) will your narrative be the same :ducky:

yeah yeah yeah

ya'll been saying, hoping and wishing a girl group would overtake BP since their debut

and it hasn't happened since....

every new girl group that debuts ya'll say will rival BP

we're still waiting...

back to BP...

they're rivaling top artists in the west

and you think these 4th gen girl groups are their competition? :bibliahh:

be serious.

both PINK VENOM & SHUT DOWN outstreamed Taylor's "Anti-Hero" globally

the Taylor Swift....they're not worried about FadedJeans, LoserFM, hIVEs or any other girl group

Hmmm not really. If you’re expecting groups to reach BTS and BP’s level of international fame beyond the reach of the niche genre that’s Kpop then that’s a bit delusional. Twice was always a huge step behind BTS and BP in terms of international numbers so it’s not the same.

I think y’all forget that those two’s streaming numbers are among the best in the music industry overall. :rip:

Chile I know damn well that BP is outstreaming and outselling most of atrl's main pop girls :rip:

I am not expecting a group to reach the level of global fame and relevancy as BP hence, it's the reason why I believe none can reach the level of the Pinks individual brand no matter how global and impressive the stats the 'Next BP' could have. I think the Int'l and local media won't give the same privilege to the next big kpop group nor it won't be as shocking for the gp to check the new group out.. but that being said, it won't stop for these groups to do well and potentially get better stats and sales than BP in the future

Aespa not performing at the MAMA is such a bad move from SM. The way SM is promoting them just doesn’t make sense!

Like all the bragging about Coachella, the NY parade and GMA but can’t get them a slot at the biggest Kpop award show :deadbanana4:?

And it’s not like SM and Mnet are beefing so why?

So, on this week's Circle chart we have Nxde perched at #1 while Antifragile stumbles to the #4 position thanks to Younha's song. Hype boy continues to outchart attention, and  Cookie, despite the undeserved hate is still in the top 20. Global #1 hit Pink Venom continues its residency outside of the top 10, currently at #12 while BP's lastest release, "Shut Down" is at #10.

Surprisingly though, moderate hit

Fearless, continues to chart in the top 25, currently at #23, very good, congrats. Another surprise in the charts is top 5 smash hit, sneakers which is currently at #36, just three spots higher than B-side Illusion, just below at #44 we find debut smash single, the so called "I" of the 3rd gen, "POP".  The rest of the top 100 is made of well known hits like Feel My Rythim (#55), Still Life (#56), DICE(#58), INVU (#62), Girls(#65), Next Level (#67), Talk That Talk (#69), Weekend (#85), among others.

New releases like Illela (#125) and Panorama (#146) fail to cause any impact, while old releases like 11:11 and You Were Beautiful makes triumphant returns to the top 200, (#196 and #197) respectively.

I don't want to see Aespa at ALL... Keep them hidden until they can come out next year with some music worth stanning. I'm glad SM is scared, they should be!

The MAMAs this year will be a pop cultural event with KARA and Itzy debuting comebacks, it's gonna be so fun

Interesting. Would a reunion even be possible though? CUBE probably still owns the rights to 4Minute and I can't see them releasing the brand/songs to the girls.

Also what is going on with HyunA? Do we know her new agency? It seems like she quit P Nation and went silent. :noparty:

we love a cherished HIT!

an article reported that newjeans' sales growth is estimated to be over 100%

their debut ep sold over 620k copies within 3 months (will outsell aespa's savage with ease)

expect nj to become million sellers in their next comeback:wink:

Aespa wont make a comeback atleast until february next year, sm are still working on smcu content phase 2.

Its unfortunate how a pedo aesthethic group is already having a comeback before aespa,  i actually want to see them comeback at the same time, but looks like sm will choose rv to fight with them.. Lets hope LSM still have those mhj demos for RV.
