The fact that those groups are being outdone by the rookie groups in terms of global stats this year :bibliahh: the Next BlackPink canceled :ahh:

There's absolutely be the next BlackPink! As global as BlackPink and can sell/outsell BlackPink but I doubt there will be an idol as big of a brand as Jennie, Lisa, Rosè and Jisoo. I feel like each girl can build their own beauty empire ala Rare beauty, Fenty, Kylie etc., If only they have the business mindset :bird: anyway even if they won't continue as a group or as an idol anymore, for me, the Pinks is always exciting to follow and even more exciting to see what's next for each of them especially knowing the fact that each has the option to upgrade globally

How can you say someone is the next BLACKPINK

when all their achievements are only in Korea?

BP is a global group, I don't see another girl group touching them any time soon

New Jeans, Red Velvet and Itzy coming to slay! 2022 is the year of women!

The stats for this year :giraffe:

- SKZ will soon have the best selling album, and be the best selling Kpop act this year as well :clap3:

- The baguettes in here are trying to paint this narrative that TWICE, HITZY and Godspa are “over” or supposedly “flopping” and yet they are still outselling almost everyone :toofunny3: And all 3 of them have only released 1 Korean album each btw.

- Nayeoncè being the best selling solo female this year :clap3:

- Red Shelved are truly the P!NK of KPOP, like they are literally outdoing almost everyone, and yet people still don’t have a clue :dies:  I can see them surpassing SNSD soon and be the best selling female group from SM, until aespa eventually surpassing them in the future.

We have newbies outselling and outdoing Twice not only in korea but also Internationally, it will just a matter of time that they could catch up with BlackPink but no point of explaining the obvious to you because you will remain in denial anyway but I wonder if baemon will see the same success as NJ or IVE (that if they are lucky) will your narrative be the same :ducky:

I'm always so impressed by how groups are able to restructure their choreo so quickly when a member is missing. Especially smaller groups, cause with SNSD for instance when Yoona was missing it wasn't super noticeable but going from 5 -> 4 changes all of the formations, plus if they're actually covering a member's part they change who's in the center, when, etc. It must be a huge headache.

I know you meant this re her CFs but this read had me cackling

Tea :coffee2:

But.. I followed all the "news" of them so far and one thing I am positive about them aside from the members being talented is that they most likely gonna have a new set of writers/producers from the usual YG team basing this on that 1 producer (ex-hybe?) who leaked a a rejected demo and recently blvsh (who work with lsrf's fearless and antifragile) as well as some female rnb producers talked about ygngg in some lives. There's also this rumor that GD will write for them based on this

So there's that but I won't be surprise if it turns out that the music is the same YG trash tbh

I'm assuming Inki is on.  MuBank is running some kind of special episode.  Maybe it's that South American content.  At least there's already a new MuCo scheduled (of course doesn't help the quest for fragile tt's). And Simply K-pop Con-tour for Nigeria is livestreaming on Monday.  Look for the attendance application in your spam folder.

Hmmm not really. If you’re expecting groups to reach BTS and BP’s level of international fame beyond the reach of the niche genre that’s Kpop then that’s a bit delusional. Twice was always a huge step behind BTS and BP in terms of international numbers so it’s not the same.

I think y’all forget that those two’s streaming numbers are among the best in the music industry overall. :rip:
