I think the most likely to leave is between Tzuyu, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung. Tzuyu’s mother chile..she a bit of a mess and I’m sure Tzuyu is missing Taiwan + there would be a lot of opportunities for her there. Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon just seems ready to check out of the Idol lifestyle.

And feel free to disagree with me, but the way I see it is that if the GP had that great an interest in them, their actual japanese releases (F&T, Better, doughnut etc) would have had comparable success to The Feels on streaming. Which indicates to me that the success of The Feels can be attributed more to its own virality rather than the brand of Twice itself. (My other interpretation would be that the japanese GP is only interested in cutesy Twice.) Actual mainstream acts can put out any semi-decent track and have them chart for months on end. Case in point: Kenshi, Yoasobi, Yuuri, King Gnu, Yorushika etc etc. And this is a consistency I find lacking in not just Twice, but girl groups in Japan in general. As for their stan base numbers in Japan, I guess we'll know for sure when(if???) they manage to release something there post pandemic. (Once again this is NOT to take away from Twice's success!!! It's impressive enough they're still doing this well!!!)

Their success with The Feels prove that they are still IT in Japan, TF is probably the biggest GG hit in Japan since.. Feel Special

On the other hand, their Korean releases were often played in the stores or on TV.

As Decalcomanie said their japanese titles never really did extraordinarily compared to their korean stuff tbh, the fact an english song is doing so well is kinda baffling, and if I'm being honest I'd put the blame on Warner, the best thing they've done since 2018? is that Olympics gig they got to promote Fanfare (2020) but we all know where that went! I know they're doing their best as they're not one of the companies with the best connections there but the promo they give their japanese stuff nowadays is... Aimyon and Twice are kind of the only ones keeping them afloat with the GP, but yeah the acts you mentioned have a bigger digital power, especially the likes of Yoasobi lately Here's a full breakdown of their songs for reference though
