It has a 19+ rating on Melon which is probably why. Same with Typa Girl and HTL. Those songs would probably do better otherwise.

The way I 100% agree  I love PV and SD but the rest is mid not a single outstanding track.

In term of promotion, it’s great but the Deluxe version of the album was out of stock so early and they just finally restocked that. Their manufacturer was a mess.

Not this Jisoo and Rose hate. Y'all messy. This group works because each member is fairly unique and the structure of all their songs is almost identical. The fact that you KNOW whose line is coming next is (on a first listen) is proof of that. Now do the same thing with Aespa or IVE or even Itzy.

Born Pink was cute  Not better better than "The Album" but still cute. 

But "Shut Down" is probably one of the worst songs on the album though, and it would've been better as a b-side. PV>RFL>>>>SD

"Shut Down" might be their worst title track ever from the song to the MV. It was the first time that I felt bored watching a BP MV  "Yeah 3X" should've been the tt and it would've been good contrast to "PV" just like how "LG" was to "HYLD". 

 

The ranking with commentary: 

1. Yeah 3X

- The best song on the album Finally they did retro, since I always wanted BP to do retro and I was really salty about them not hopping on the retro trend back in 2020, when everyone was doing it. But we still need a retro title track so that the Pinks can have their own "La Di Da" or "I Can't Stop Me" 

 

2. The Happiest Girl

-   Such a good ballad, and was shocked that I liked a ballad from them this much 

 

Jisoo's post-chorus: 

 

"I can stop the tears if I want to

I can stop thе tears if I want to" 

 

3. Pink Venom

- We already know

 

4. Ready for love

- We already know

 

5. Hard To Love

-  Cute, but should've been on Rosé's album, but sis snapped with her vocals in this one.

That's true. And there was like no announcement at all that the Deluxe is back in stock. If I didn't randomly check for it today, I wouldn't have known that you can buy it again. I guess they didn't expect how many physicals SNSD still could ship in 2022. If everything had went smoothly, I'm pretty sure Forever 1 could have pushed beyond 400k+ copies.

Exactly. And the girls are aware of their talents / uniqueness and lean into that better than almost ANY other Kpop group. Each ones deserves props for that at least.
