The verses are forgettable but that chorus HITS. 

 

Shut Down is too similar to Pink Venom in terms of girl crush. There's no point in having 2 girl crush title tracks.

 

A different vibe should have been the title track. Typa girl is too similar to Money.

Makes sense. BP doesn't have the range for something like this. Imagine a sentimental sad goodbye song with rose singing in avacadoes, jisoo whispering, jennie being dara and lisa coming in with "RAT TAT BRAT BADABING BADABOOM"

Shut Down is leagues beyond Pink Venom. I love it. The MV was a waste of an investment, but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t have phoned it in after two “big budget” videos.

Born Pink is a garbage album. The only good new songs that we hadn't previously heard were Hard to Love and Yeah Yeah Yeah. The whole album sounds thrown together and last minute. Shameful.

I actually enjoyed all 8 songs!!! It showed a different side of Blackpink. Now i can't wait to attend the tour, some of Born Pink songs were made to be sang live in an stadium rather than listening with your airpods.
