the music shows that they don't take themselves too seriously, which has been part of the brand since the beginning (BBY, AIIYL, COY, IC)

 

the PV chorus is a perfect example. it's not a "joke-chorus" per se but it's quirky and campy and I feel like Shut Down might have some of that too

What is this delusion.. Kpop is much bigger now than it was when BP and BTS debuted. None of these groups would be close to 'global' if it weren't for them  y'all are mentally deranged I fear!

aside from the success and their musical output (if we won’t count the amount, which is TRAGIC) I don’t know how anyone sane can be happy that they are under YG and release once per 2 years with barely any content alongside… they deserve more, but also, fans deserve more too, since YG is making huge ton of money out of them with barely anything done 

 

the girls could’ve been so much bigger, they are wasting their potential

 

even after VMAs, they had huge hype, yet they went back to Korea right away and dipped… not like they didn’t have 2 years and whole pandemic to plan everything out, yet they are rush releasing an album and sending them on tour 

 

Shut Down mv serves gowns beautiful gowns, but we will see on Friday

There’s constructive criticism, which I don’t mind…people are allowed to feel how they feel, but with you, it’s different. You come off as an actual hater, but masquerades as a fan. Anytime you talk about BP it’s to **** on them, you never have anything positive to say about them, yet call yourself a fan…you said something positive the day PV (which shocked the hell outta me) came out and then instantly it’s like you couldn’t be fake anymore, you started shitting on them the very next day immediately after you literally just praised them, it’s weird
