I think that’s why I like the song cuz it reminds me so much of the music I used to listen to growing up. Almost every line, melody, flow, adlibs are stolen, probably.  YG is so shameless! These songs are mega smashes; Imagine how many Indie, underground artists Teddy and his crew have stolen from without giving them proper credits!

 

The way Jennie packs her words into each beat, on the second verse ,  is sooo Kendrick too!  It’s a blatant influence there

I just read this, you actually don’t need to give credits for interpolation!! Miss Beyonce was just a generous ***** n gave everybody credits for just interpolation! You only need to obtain the license!!

It does not explicitly say so in that doc. And i'm honestly not so sure about this

 

But in all the examples they gave there + famous interpolation that we know in pop music, original songwriters are always credited

Liz's vocals are low key overrated. The one that shined the most was the one in the ugly poncho and grandma hat in Eleven. Her voice was literally liquid gold on that song
