they are bigger in Korea (yet), but IVE clearly overtook them globally already, without promo abroad and flop weak english single, also IVE have 4th it girl 

 

hopefully they will bounce back, because some users here proclaimed, and other agreed or didn’t express disagreement, that they are next BP  and you need to remember that BP is a ww-known group, so having only a nation sized smash is not enough and much younger group is already ahead in global stats

NWJNS cookie lyrics is growing bigger in Korea since they decided to sue people instead of changing the lyrics. The problems is not the girls but the people who decided to give a group with minor a song with innuendo.

 

The fact that BlackPink 'Ice cream' got dragged in and talked about in these controversy, saying the difference is BlackPink we were sure that 3 out of 4 members knew what they were singing (and could explained the 4th member) about and all of them were actually full grown adult.

If you are going to say aespa is the 4th gen #1 group at the moment you are just delusional because IVE is. 

 

IVE debuted and they never had a flop era and their physicals just went up to the max with only single releases not even a mini.

Love Dive sold more than 700k overall in Gaon/Circle and that's only a single. After Like already passed 450k sales in a day like it's a fact they will pass the 1M mark

All IVE singles are in the TOP 30 of melon and 2 in the TOP 10 showing their huge power in digitals 

 

aespa has more than a flop era and their latest comeback was literally a boygroup comeback with huge physical sales but not the best digitals. 

 

IVE has the physicals, digitals + global spotify and apple music + the it girl

how are they not the leading group? 

 

I will not put NWJNS here because they just debuted and it's not fair we will see their growth with their next comeback 

 

IVE is currently the most stable GG and no one can deny that

IVE managed to have 3 highly successful singles charting in top30 in Korea, two of them in top10 atm 

 

also aespa promoted DCT at the beginning of the year, Step Back, got Illusion as pre release and not to mention complete flop LTS 

they even plastered BM and DCT to their newest ep to inflate their stats and left out NL since it was a literal cover and most probably they weren’t allowed to do it  but somehow it was amazing and groundbreaking but BP’s new song is awful and unoriginal 

 

could you please compare ELEVEN’s stats with BM? and then Next Level with Love Dive? which is still in top10 along with their newest comeback that shot up to the top5  I won’t ask you about „promotional” single Forever (it got quite a few performances too, but failed to do anything) 

 

aespa was painted as the second coming in this thread and was paired with BP, way above IVE by the majority at one point, about 1-2 months ago, where are people proclaiming them as the biggest gg? 

 

people will troll aespa’s fans, because they did clowns out of themeselves, accept that 

 

btw I still adore aespa and I hope SM will stop paying dust NingNing one day

What’s make aespa is they’re doing something which wasn’t done before (they took some inspiration from other groups) but they still stand out in their way. It’s okay if a nugu groups copy from aespa but a  rookie group from one of the biggest companies and JYP is trying to act they invented that concept truly shameless. They will never be taken seriously.
