all groups relay heavy on promotions these day, only BB, BTS, BP and IVE managed to crack top5 right off the bat and BP is sitting pretty at #2, it’s not like they are dipping hard, not to mention their views on youtube in Korea alone 

 

let them breath and give them some time there  PV is the most streamed song in Korea, it’s the uls difference that keeps them on #2

nnn yeah it's giving CLC -> GIDLE 

I think the main issue with WJSN is that they have too many members but when you compare them to other post-IOI groups they're not doing that bad. They also never had a member as popular as Wonyoung and iirc Yeonjung ranked dead last on the final voting so

That IVE’s song is soo basic, and the samples makes it even more basic. However, it’s very catchy, but will definitely age like Milk. You shouldn’t listen more than a few times aday  

 

The last chorus can definitely use some of Winter’s screeching; it’s just sooo empty and bland. Laying the vocals n adlibs could had given that song more life!

Blackpink have had their own active threads every era since AIIYL, most people don't wanna stay here during their comebacks for very obvious reasons

i've been listening to after like all day but aespa was already #1 with savage at this point and the only one who dethroned them was miss iu.

 

savage also debuted with more uls than after like despite melon having 1m less users in 2021 than in 2022.

 

so in conclusion, ive could have done better considering it's their first release since their "national hit". they're doing amazing though!!!!!

LD is still top10 and ELEVEN is top30, stop with the delusion  not to mention that top10 is CROWDED at the moment and it’s a bloodbath on the charts

 

aespa couldn’t crack the charts a month ago, before all of this mess, so you should hold back from inserting them here, since they showed a sign of decline this time around, sm messed them up with that forced western push and girls

WJSN were sabotaged by the release of Happy and their debut was shite but Starship is good at managing them otherwise... There's a reason they're the only post-IOI group to truly have success. 

 

Their last album sold like 200k. Not even Oh My Girl does that. They're 4th in terms of girl group album sales from 3rd gen atm. It's respectable.

After Like is just okay. Not the type of slay that was Love Dive. 

 

I'm kinda interested to see how it will do on Spotify and AM. So far, they seem to be the 4th GG with the biggest WW potential after Itzy's decline.
