After Like was..okay? Idk I'm just whelmed. To be fair after Love Dive (which is still SOTY btw) they were only gonna go down. The thing I hate about the song is the way the iconic sample was just...there and they didn't do anything with it. Definition of lazy and uninspired. I don't really love ELEVEN that much so I'd put this at #2 right now. Oh and who thought it was a good idea to have the rapping over the sample though....why 

 

The music video's editing was terrible, serving Pink Venom. Also where was the budget Starship?

 

Glad they're smashing though. IVE are here to STAY and they're gunning for the 4th Gen Leaders title.

"After Like" was cute. 

 

The obvious favoritism with Miss Strawberry though  Like why is she stealing all of the lines, especially when her vocal tone sounds like a chipmunk  Liz deserves better cause she is the best vocalist of the group and I'm afraid she's going to get the Jeonyeon treatment  Like the chorus is sung 8 times in the song and Starship couldn't fit the main vocalist in one of them?  Like couldn't they give her at least 1 chorus instead of having Strawberry singing in all of them?

 

I was also waiting for my girl Gaeul to pop up, but she was nowhere to be found until 1:20, and she slayed as usual. Gaeul had the best set by far, ugh she's such a star I fear! Starship know that she is the true star of IVE and will outshine the IZ*one girls if she gets too many lines, and that can't be allowed of course.  

 

Starship need to promote the other members better cause Strawberry and Yujin will always get attention and their flowers no matter what, since they are already really famous due to IZ*ONE. There is no reason for them to get that extra push. The need to show a little more favoritism to the other members especially at the start of their careers, so that they can keep up with Strawberry and Yujin in the long run in terms of popularity and not getting completely overshadowed. Strawberry and Yujin have been in the industry for 4 years now, so they already have a big advantage. Like isn't Gaeul the main dancer? Why are they giving all the dance breaks to Yujin only? Isn't Liz the main vocal? Why are they giving all the lines to Strawberry? 

 

Le Sserafim is in the exact same position as IVE where they have 2 IZ*ONE girls in a 6 membered girl group, however they are able to balance out the members way more, and every members feels important. The other non-IZ*ONE members were able to shine and even outshine Sakura in their debut even though Sakura is by far the most popular member. Like look at members like Kazuha, Yunjin, queen Garam  and how much their presence is felt within the group.

My Satisfaction is cute and their first bside that I use. Liz sounds amazing on it. How the hell do you keep ignoring you main vocalist on the titles?

After Like is still great despite the bit uninspired usage of the sample. Taps right into the nostalgia of 2008-2013 pop where songs had like actually good production & sound engineering, and not this muddy sound where everything is noisy and indistinguishable from each other, that is popular nowadays
