Arrows Posted January 12 Posted January 12 August 1st falls on a Friday this year, which also happens to be folklore's 5-year anniversary. I wouldn't mind a cute special edition, maybe a re-stocking of the original vinyl versions and the live album, a video for august and a push for this classic to hit #1 2 1

I mean, how many people can push a million copies of a book and a million copies (/2 million/3 million) of an album? Why the HELL is this sh*t selling so much??

Yeah I used to stan Down Bad hard but I'm not returning to it much lately. Still like the song though, I would say I love everything until #24 (after that though... ). 2

She needs to take some kind of break before releasing new music so that people can "miss" her a bit. I honestly believe the frequent release of new music, while amazing for us, is partially the reason why TTPD got less glowing reviews (there's other reasons as well but i digress). TS12 would be perfect for 2026.
Enrique523 Posted Monday at 01:34 PM Posted Monday at 01:34 PM Now why is @perfectillusion204 lurking in this thread just to react to ONE post by @Taylor fanboy? Is there something you want to tell us since you obviously seems interested in what happens in this thread? Come on don't be shy

Dear Reader Posted Monday at 03:36 PM Posted Monday at 03:36 PM Felt inspired by @Klein and did one of my own. This is still VERY very hard to order imo. I find myself taking time off with this album and whenever I come back, I end up falling in love with different pieces of it. It really is a masterpiece of an album and I'm sad that it got so misunderstood by everyone. Cleanromantic Posted Monday at 05:04 PM Posted Monday at 05:04 PM We don't talk enough about this iconic ode to girlhood it perfectly captures what made Fearless such a breakthrough success. The album is unapologetically overdramatic and brutally honest. She wasn't concerned with coming off as ~cool and detached or above it all (Something I can't say about certain girls who mimicked Fearless and tried to have their own defining teenage girlhood albums, but failed) and it is a quality she still retains to this day, brutal honesty and fearlessness in telling it like it is. Of course the lyricism is paired with excellent melodies that take the drama up to eleven. No wonder Max Martin was terrified of meeting her. She was writing melodies that writing camps could only dream of coming up with. 3
Cleanromantic Posted Monday at 05:15 PM Posted Monday at 05:15 PM Oh let me go back to praising ttpd . We also don't talk enough about the brilliance of the track listing. The way kt starts with a very 1989/Midnights sound for the first 4 songs, only for her to mentally go off the rails by track 5. There are hints of craziness on those first 4 songs, but it's almost hidden by the synth pop shine. She legit loses her mind with shame and grief from So Long, London to the Manuscript, each song is darker than the one preceding it (Let's just ignore The Alchemy, So High-school, Thank you Kimye, and Robyn ) 1
