Let me put aside my issues with miss ologist cause I've got a 6 hour drive tomorrow and this'll make for a good listen. Just so long as she doesn't start bashing it, of course. The baguetteologist grew on me because they're a ttpd stan, and let's face it, that requires a great amount of taste, good judgement, and culture to achieve, so I can't go too hard on them, but their problem is that they try to have ~controversial takes when there are none, so they're often reaching for the stars with their video essays. 

 

For ts12, I want her to continue the 90s soft rock and chamber pop influences of ttpd. It's really the genre that she shines in the most, and she reached new heights as a  lyricist on the album, but I don't think she'll go personall this time again. I would love it if she explores the topic of her conflicting relationship with fame like she didnon ttpd, but from the perspective of a fictional or historic characters. 

 

I have a feeling ts12 will come sooner than we think. I always thought she'll save the debut rerecording for it's 20th anniversary, which is right around the corner, and I think if she'll want ts13 to be her comeback album if she's taking a break for her movie, so I can see her releasing ts12 at the end of 2025, then Reputation and Debut in 2026.

x2 to all of this. That thread raging right now is proof enough that you have to have enough spare braincells to rub together to actually understand TTPD beyond the surface level, so it's probably fair to grant people who praise TTPD a bit more leeway (though some of their controversy-bait takes genuinely cause me to see red lol). 

 

I honestly do not have a particularly opinion on what TS12 should sound like, because I'd have never pegged the TTPD sound for TS11 and yet I absolutely love it, so I have faith in Her (though absolutely YES to a further exploration of 90s soft rock). I have to assume TS12 I(in whatever form it takes) is going to be the "I Luh Ya Travi" album, because the last thing we've heard from Her artistically and diaristically was "Joe Alwyn isn't **** and **** Matty Healy too". I'd die for another character driven story, but I kinda want Her to save that for TS13 to make that into a grand magnum opus. As for a release timeline, I'm pretty ambitious, and will call it sometime between March and May of 2025. 

 

As for the rest of the re-recordings, because things have shifted so fundamentally within that paradigm from 2019 to the present, I have to think there's basically zero internal pressure for her to pump the last 2 out as quickly as is needed (she's already destroyed the value of her most valuable BM albums, and she'll be able to turn it into a big moment for the fans when she's undertaking some downtime - such as while filming the movie, since the material is almost certainly finished and is just waiting to be released).

She seems like she's in such a good place after getting TTPD off her chest, Travis, and the Eras tour being the massive success that it is. I kinda want a celebratory 30, flirty, and thriving album still grounded in reality & relatability. 

 

Plus I'm imagining the collapse of TS13 if she secretly gets married and has a kid but we don't find out until we hear the album on release day. The internet would be in shambles scattered asunder, I see the vision
