I’m a lil sacREDster to my core but there are a few songs I routinely skip, Stayx3 being the most frequent. It’s a bit too simple and saccharine for my taste

1989 has more skips than all her non mixtape country albums. Let's wake it up.

Red can be hard to sit through entirely because of its melting pot of different sounds and energy levels - w/ something like evermore either I’m into listening to the entire thing or I’m not, as it’s all one similar palate - can’t say the same w/ red unfortunately so when I do listen I find myself skipping certain songs

first 5 track run is probably my favorite of her entire catalog though!

The Red/Lover comparison does make sense. Both have some career highlights and some career lows. Though Red's highs are higher, especially with the vault tracks, and Lover's lows are lower

But yes, when you say "skip" the first song I think of is IWYW. I don't know a more pointless song

It's been a minute since we've praised one of the very best song on Midnights

It turned into something bigger
Somewhere in the haze, got a sense I'd been betrayed
Your finger on my hairpin triggers
Soldier down on that icy ground
Looked up at me with honor and truth
Broken and blue, so I called off the troops
That was the night I nearly lost you
I really thought I'd lost you

I've written about it before, she would absolutely DOMINATE if she were to come out with a housewares line/become a domestic arts media empire. She would probably dominate commercially in make-up/fashion if she wanted to as well, but those don't seem natural for her.

Think of a line of Taylor Swift™ pots and pans. Rachel Ray found s***ing, crying, screaming on the floor. :WAP:

literally her and swifties have already come up with 10 distinct visual libraries that could be used for literally any type of merchandise, lowkey we're lucky she's not a TOTAL capitaylist and she keeps it relatively tame fkjdfjk :toofunny2:

I Wish You Would is her best Jack song production wise don't @ me

mirrorballah and GOD rush round out the trinity

edit: How did I forget Corona Bummer and disgust's mother Opus of the Woods :jonny: Jack's production is immaculate on that song

We really were lucky we got the 3AM edition cause...

Lock broken, slur spoken
Wound open, game token
I didn't know you were keeping count
Rain soaking, blind hoping
You said I was freeloading
I didn't know you were keeping count
But oh, you were keeping count

Need Taylor to serve a walk of shame in the vein of Cersei from GoT in the '****!' music video. :jonny:

i think she'll announce tour gross once its done, she wants the title biggest of all time instead of biggest female of all time :biblionana:

ugh, november 2024 is another year :gaycatx:

I'm thinking she'll announce the first leg up till now to snatch that Artist Of The Year from Morgan and perhaps promote the concert movie as the highest grossing female tour ever, and then it'll be crickets again till the end of the tour when she comes swinging with that Biggest Tour Of All Time headline, and dust everyone.

It's not not a perfect song, the way she sings this specific part of the song makes me go feral:WAP:

It’s okay life is a tough crowd

32 and still growing up now

Who you are is not what you did

You’re still an innocent

Even the supposed “lows” of Speak Now could compete the highs of Red & Lover

Maybe she’ll drop the boxscores while Grammy voting is going on but who knows at this point

This one can compete, but can’t win against likes of Treacherous and Cornelia Street. :cool2:

This song is NOT low tier. It’s a hidden gem that needs to shine.

The TV sent it to the moon!

One of her most underrated Bridges.

I was glad that the strike put some of them on hiatus, now that they're back, I bet she'll have her ass on his couch on release night :dies:

I hope that no one in certain places wins this and she's forced to reach these places

Dorothea is not as bad as people make it seems

in fact, it gave a layer of evermore's small village energy that lacks in the middle of the album
