Literally why do some people think she’s gay? Is it delusion?

Confirmation bias. It's what they want her to be.

I'm not sure why.

Bejeweled is such a masterclass of a pop song

People just don't get how perfect it is. If Middy is going to get another pop radio single (not that I think it will), I desperately want it to be Bejeweled or Hits Different, because radio (and the GeePee) would eat it up

I dont know how accurate this is but according to Forbes India, Taylor pocketed 30 million dollars after expenses, costs, fees and taxes out of the first 300 million generated on the Eras Tour.

They broke down the numbers and estimated how much she'd make. So basically we can kind of guess that she'd make 10% in NET revenue out of the total in number I think. So if the tour generates 1 billion she'd pocket 100 million after taxes and costs and stuff! Amazing!

Funny you say that because today I've been binge listening to it. It's just so good lol! I never got hwy ppl hated the song lol. It's a pure pop light hearted gem of a song and even the mv is great imo

I think it would perform kind of like Karma in a way. It has that camp pure pop element to it and sounds harmless. I still would prefer You're on Your Own Kid as the 4th and final single in the fall (especially if she doesnt have any single for 1989 TV) but I'd be down with Bejeweled being one especially since it already has an mv and stuff

Bejeweled is kind of a grower. It wasn’t my favorite early on, but I still bop when it comes on.

Personally I’d love for YOYOK to be a single still, though. Devastated she ignored it for the tour :rip:

For a touring act of Taylor's caliber who is making as much money as we expect her to be making, I've seen figures that her personal take-home would be closer to 30-40% pre-tax. There are only so many fixed costs (The Eras tour doesn't need 10x the number of employees of a tour that makes 100M, for instance, venue fees are largely flat-rate, and her promoter takes the same percentage, regardless of how much is made), and at some point a tour that is as profitable as Eras has been is just going to generate a lot of money for someone to throw around (see the bonuses). Basically, anything that doesn't go to her fixed expenses goes to Taylor and her businesses to do with as they see fit. While I'm sure she'll immediately invest it for tax purposes, if she was fiscally irresponsible, that cash would be available to her off hand, and the estimates I've seen are that she'll take home somewhere between 30 and 40%.

I haven't been able to watch the video yet so it might agree with what I've said or contradict it entirely, I'll edit this later once I get the chance to see what they say if it disagrees too much :gaylorcat2:

They were the last tracking week but after that fell apart I think everyone has kind of just given up seeing as her team isn't making any attempt anyway

yeah I found the 10% projection to be rather low imo but I think their number was post tax and fees and stuff so it could make sense but like you said, I think she is at a point where she'd be pocketing more. Either way this tour is easily going to take her to new heights wealth wise. She might almost become a billionaire :jonny2:
