It's over.

It's been over lol anyone who thinks she's EVER gonna drop another studio album is a raging delulu

Posted

After her words at the Fenty event is very clear the future.

Maybe we are lucky for at least R9 and no more.

Posted

She really contradicts herself...

Posted (edited)

A few months ago she said "she's now prepared going back to the studio and don't neglect the songs she already produced for the scrapped R9 and relisten them with new ears"

And now this comment last night...

Why can't she record a video of herself, speaking about music that she's actually retiring from it, then upload it on every platform just to close this chapter. It would be Fairplay because so many fans are here first of her music, while so many waiting for the next project after ANTI. What she's doing here is very bitchy. Talking about music at a random Fenty-Event. That's rude...

I'm starting to dislike her for that..

All of this. It all started with „2019". I was dragged in this thread back then when I put it against her but she is so dishonest all along. She should care a little more about our unnecessary anticipation..

She clearly means the business is her main career. Which she's always said that she wanted to start a family and retire from music since her debut. I think she put in work and has a classic legendary career and anything we get afterwards is a blessing and we should be grateful. But the Smurfs are coming and she clearly is interested in music, she loves music.

I'm sorry to hear that...

Rihanna needs to clear up the ****, I don't know how to say this. It is what it is.

She herself is her biggest competition she is her own obstacle. If she has fun with Fenty-Beauty etc. that's okay, I'm not going against it. But to say many times that music is coming going back and forth with her statements like one day she records music and the next day after that she's more anticipated with her other ventures and stating commets about music like last night, it makes her look dishonest, like you said here in your post I'm quoting. I also said this many times she needs to be honest, what's going on with her. But sending out little information doesn't make this situation understandable. It's frustrating. I really love her with everything she does and I want to support her, but not in this way she handling it. It's sad...

Sometimes I wished ANTI didn't happen, because she would be more focused on music and this album is her most successful one to this day and musically her best one, but she's leaning on to that and is not craving for more music to put it out like she used to. The desire for it is on the low. She should take risks to see how well R9 would do and then she can clear her head with everything. And I know really well that R9 won't be a letdown. She has great sense when it comes to her music. Even like she said she is open for weird stuff with R9. Let the game begin...

Rihanna has lost it

Posted

Her music career is over. She's confirmed that now. So I won't be posting here again unless she comes out of retirement.

Rih is not on the brain.

Bye.

The way she wouldn't be able to name a Billie song if she was asked is sending me. She's so fake in these interviews… To think I used to live for a Rih interview…

Personally, i feel like y'all are reading too much into that comment.

I think it's the comment combined with her actions over the years. At some point people give up on denying the evidence before their eyes. Pains me to say but I really have lost a lot of respect for her. Nobody who truly cares about music moves the way she is.

At this point, even the whole "7 albums in 7 years" or whatever sounds kind of foolish. It's quite telling that she only released music consistently when she was following a label's directives. The second she took full control (and made enough money to never work again) she tossed music aside.

Yes, i don't disagree with the overall sentiment that music is not her priority, i'm just surprised that this comment in particular is triggering so much conversation because i think the comment itself is pretty harmless (she's just saying that there's MORE beyond music, not that god tell her to move on from music).

I was basically saying this a couple years back when ya'll were hopeful still and was told I was being negative :deadbanana4:

It's been obvious for years now she had never been prioritisng music (or caring) since like 2019-2020. Essentially when she became a billionaire. It had always been obvious to me in interviews she has/was just saying meaningless comments whenever she was speaking about music lol, purely because she was obligated to.

Anyway hopeful for a couple smurf bops

As I was saying... Breaking Dishes did 741K on Tuesday... So... New all time high (previous was 713K). And it's inside the Top100 now in some markets..

I can't believe it's blowing up now... (6months after it started going viral) 😱😱😍😍

All this back and forth with her is tiring. I FINALLY moved on and have listened to TYLA and TEMS in place of Rihanna being MIA from music. I actually like those two and I really don't listen to Rihanna's music anymore; I thought that'd never change but here we are. I have overplayed her discography for the past few years that with nothing new, my ears are tired.

100%. It's a hard reality to accept because Rihanna was and still is a big part of my life, along with many others. She found a new passion and it unfortunately it doesn't involve new music. Let's cherish the good times and move onto something new.

I had that phase already like 3 or 4 times already in all this time...

But no matter what... I come back to Rih's music.

I still can sing all her albums back to back and whenever she comes up anywhere ... I can't help but smile at the impact she has. Coz it's literally like 40 different songs that play, never the same one. She is unmatched tbh
