wildsidenormani Posted March 22 Posted March 22 yall need to let it go lol. ain't **** coming from her 3
Givemeyourcoat Posted March 22 Posted March 22 It's now more than ever over. She will never have a popstar type of career or a decent one like touring and releasing projects for way too much reasons. Just releasing songs time to time isn't enough to keep a fanbase that already waited way too much in the cold just to get too little. All of this is just painfull to see and Watch. We got disrespected so much by Normani… I honestly think it's better for her to only focus on her marriage. 1

They will film entire movies and just scrap them now if they don't think they can make money. They don't go to streaming either... They are just not released. Normani is obviously in a bad label situation. Who knows if we will get much from her again if she is stuck on RCA? We won't get much like the past years. Next year is gonna be the same too. It's over honestly. Even if she decides (which i doubt) to do pop again like RCA wanted in the beginning, they won't really care since they have Tate, her récent project sold really well so they are gonna mostly focus on her. SZA, Tems are doing good. Normani isn't a priority for RCA so it's over.

Topaz Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Has there even been leaks or photos of her recording these said videos. For all we know, nothing is filmed.

At this point I think she should just release a single and sees if it takes off. If it does then she should move onto album 2. Hope she's able to book more acting roles like she wants to Album 2??? 😭😭😭😭😭😭 There's delusion and then there's whatever this is. She hardly put out an album 1! there ain't going to be an album 2 1
Motivation93 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 @wildsidenormani I know you had some tea prior to when the album was getting rolled out. Is there anything you know behind the scenes where it's like absolutely crickets ? Did her album flop really push back all the visuals or was the album dropping just a contractual obligation? Why did they film videos for them to never be released
harmonizeme89 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'll never understand filming visuals and then just not releasing them. Still annoyed we didn't get the video for Fair. 2
Hey200200 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I really wish I could call that dang on label cause I need answers looking back at her rolling stone interview in December and her galore interview in January and the Terrell show there's definitely some type of visual film that was made for dopamine cause she always describes it like it's a project and we've seen her on the set of of candy paint which she shot in may and we've seen Paris and her creative director as well as one Rihanna makeup artist that worked on Wilde side MV & with dancers with white timberland boots looking dirty from dancing and crew members sharing videos on set for another music video she shot in September it is rumors she has shot up to 3 to 4 music videos and don't forget about the fair video so stuff is definitely shot what could possibly be the hold up cause it doesn't seem to beon her end she always says she trying to get it out or she wishes she can put it out so why won't the label approve/ give the green light sorry for the rant

She's burned too many bridges at this point. She should've just stuck to pop and slowly moved to R&B/Alternative. Now she's wasted all this money on music that the company isn't confident in. If anything we would be grateful to even get one off singles at this point. I think that's the reason why she was crying on J Hud's show. I think she knows she is shelved but just won't admit to it. However, if she was smart she should've asked to be dropped and go independent. It's no purpose of holding onto a career if it's no longer viable. Now everyone is tired of her excuses when at this point it's clear that she isn't planning to release anytime soon. If she does ever release a second LP she will probably have no creative control or very little because she has somewhat shown she can't manage a budget. 1

All she did was lie these last few years. She isn't reliable 1
Topaz Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Yeah you know its bad when people aren't even excited for Candy Paint/1:59/All Yours video which I'm assuming were the main singles. Had this album been released after Wildside it would have faired way better. Debuted in the top 20 and had first week sales of around 35-50k. Overall there should been an album with Motivation with tacked on DWAS, Waves, Love Lies + Droplet era with Calvin and a couple other collabs that were pop to last 2018-2020. That era was guaranteed at least 60-80k sales first week. A album with Wildside + Fair for streams, a couple collabs and a majority of these songs. (2021-2023) A new album 2024-2025 (short album era showing her slower rnb/sensual side) and she should be touring right now and another album released 2026. Another thing with Tyla and Tate being here is that they are offering the gap that Normani could've filled. With Normani on the scene now she doesn't have that unique itch people needed scratching anymore. She would have to make music that appealed more which i'm assuming she doesn't want to do. Givemeyourcoat Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Laughing at the fact that back in september when i was saying y'all shouldn't think that because of fashion week looks she was gonna do something with the era y'all were saying im just negative for no reason. We in march of the year after and the era still haven't started. Laughing at the fact that when she annonced Dopamine I was septical about her making R&B rather than pop because of her core audience that is pop. Album did 12k. Laughing at the fact that I said Normani needs to focus on building a good and healthy relationship with her fanbase during the era. Y'all were saying I just wanna have a « parasocial relationship with her ». As we speak, she promised many things that she still haven't done. We still don't know anything about the visuals or the tour. She doesn't care to post content like acoustic versions of her songs while we wait for the MV (i honestly don't care anymore). You won't admit it but y' all are also tired of her bullshit. Maybe im not negative, im just rational and y'all are just in y'all feelings. Edited March 28 by Givemeyourcoat 2 2

It's better for her to stop. She is too inconsistent, and can't serve a proper her when she is suppose to be « active » and way too much dumb choices.

Flare Posted Monday at 12:20 AM Posted Monday at 12:20 AM (edited) Y'all being too fake in here. If the Candy Paint video dropped tomorrow, y'all would be GAGGING. The problem has never been what Normani does. The problem is how INFREQUENTLY she does anything (and the rollout around it) Edited Monday at 12:20 AM by Flare 2 1
justifymythreads Posted Tuesday at 11:43 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:43 AM Something tells me she's expecting. The reason why is because why can't she attend any of the promotional material for this movie? Like what else is she doing? I know she has that performance in May but that's a ways away for her to be missing out on promotional events for her first film. 1
