A visual album after her album and singles went triple tinfoil?

Where is that budget supposed to come from?

I won't believe it until the video is uploaded on youtube but since joya was quoting big boy the other day people think it's a video for that song. I feel like All yours would be better since it's the one getting the most streams but at least the era isn't dead.

I'm just so confused why they'd bank three videos ? I remember she did say after release that she does have multiple things "loading" but we know how she is. Praying for a few visuals

It would take nothing short of a miracle for them to do something that won't piss off the fanbase if they truly are planning something. :rip: Good luck.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I need a tell-all book about her career with an entire chapter dedicated to her music video filming and (non-)rollout process because what do you mean she's filming another video when literally the last THREE videos she filmed were all shelved? :deadbanana4:

There's no way people think RCA payed entire filming crews, stylists and choreographers to film 4 music videos just to pass time and they never planned to release them… Like is this really the narrative we're going with ?

So every artist from RCA can have a budget for visuals except for Normani? Artists from that label whose album didn't even charted at least had visuals for their work. It wouldn't surprise me if Normani held off on visuals until she could add her own towards the budget (via her endorsements)

Also, someone pointed out the work she did with Sean could've been scrapped and that held up filming and performances + her recent injury. I hope whatever she has filmed gets released. At the very least this shows her team hasn't given up on Dopamine.

Choreographers don't have any say on when videos are released even if their work is in them and Sean and Normani haven't been on good terms to me for a while. There's nothing to suggest he was involved with any of the Dopamine videos at all.

I personally think at least one will be released and to me there's only been 3 videos filmed overall. Candy Paint, 1:59 and whatever this video is. Though I'm not sure what Normani filmed with Gunna was ever intended to be a full music video for 1:59. Even when she mentioned it months ago on live, she was vague. Maybe they only intended that to be a first dose video and then maybe they had a plan to go back and film an actual video for it. Either way, since we have news of her fiming a new video, I don't think the era is over. Just extremely badly planned I guess. :toofunny2:

Let's keep it real the era is DONE

She should be saving her coins for the next album!!!

I wish her last remaining fans will see this reality.

This era cannot be salvaged. Even if she releases an entire visual album it won't be enough.

She is an artist that does little to no social media, no live performances, no festivals…..literally nothing after releasing a great debut album.

Somebody went on live back in June or July and said that she had filmed three videos because they had friends as her dancers. The 1:59 as a music video was confirmed by a makeup artist.

I think whatever she's doing is self-funded and that why we see all the random brand deals.

I'm just posting this exchange between chloe and one of her fans from a few days ago when i read it I thought it was nice that she was being transparent but what I am also trying to say that it's highly unlikely that RCA is not spending money on those videos in some type of way. Normani could be adding to it though like she did with Wild Side.

You have a point, but I didn't say the possible scrapping of choreography was completely on Sean's part. It's a reach but I can see that happening. Sean did do the candy paint choreo for the Bose commercial so that's why I assumed he would be a part of choreographing the visuals. I'm just trying to make sense of why we still don't have visuals 3 months after the album release tbh.

I'm really not liking how this industry is treating the black artists these days …. Like there white counterparts can quote on quote flop all day and they still get to have an era/promotions and be funded but as soon as it appears the black artists aren't doing as planned they gotta be sidelined I don't like it

If RCA is the issue, she needs to resolve any existing contractual obligations with them and sign with a label that will support her taking creative risks without being overly concerned with the business side. BUT, it seems that Normani  also wants commercial success or some level of acclaim for her work and vision. If her efforts don't meet her expectations, she quietly dips - as we've seen countless number of times already.

Any who. The hype was dead they said. Nobody cared they said. The engagement will never be like it was with Motivation they said and now look. The announcement tweet is doing numbers. We back baby and I find it funny we was really talking about this happening a couple of days ago.

Well...

It's still beyond me how she disappeared after her debut …

See how I didn't respond to that troll and it's minion and instead put them both on ignore? Very demure. Very mindful. Very classy. Very mature.
