I'm sure they're orchestrated by her team. They probably sent out what they're supposed to talk about in these. It makes no sense for all the different interviewers think of the same exact questions :deadbanana:

Well think about it. What else is there to talk about concerning Normani? These are the questions that the interviewers are asking her. I highly doubt that girl still wants to talk about 5H.

I don't blame the interviewers for their questioning. The narrative we've been given is essentially all there is to talk about since she doesn't really have a public persona.

She's getting asked the same questions in these interviews though.

Yeah, not totally her fault lolol.

I wonder what her mom meant with the alleged storm that was coming. Was there ever a plan or just wishful thinking?

I really hope she has something planned for the last quarter or the first quarter, because I've seen a lot of stans on social media who have turned in their Stan cards, and I don't like that.

I know it's been six years of nothing and an era of nothing, but you can't tell me this hasn't been a learning experience to go harder next. I have a little hope for the next album, because whatever she does now won't help "Dopamine" at all. If she doesn't have her sh*t together for N2, then I'll gladly walk away, but I just have a feeling N2 will have to be bigger or she's done in the music industry.

You think there's gonna be another album?

I wish she had the drive Ally had in 2018/2019 doing every show and performance she could. She needs to be visible.

She is 100% to blame on the fact that many left and some are living the fanbase. We're are gonna say it's her team or label fault again ? Her relationship was always awful  but at least we had performances and MVs. Now we have nothing an this is even more irritating. She either speaks rudely, lies, makes falses promisises or prefer reposting other celebrities accomplishments as if her fanbase isn't asking her things. You need to have a strong fanbase and big fanbase in order to be BIG. She is terrible at having a good relationship with her small fanbase and don't pay them any attention. She only come when she needs people to pay or stream. How do you want to be « a superstar like Michael Jackson or Beyonce » if you never play the game?

Even Beyonce is suffering from doing no promo and being too distant with her fans / audience. We see it with the way she handled last two eras and same goes for cecred. Look at the diff between how she sells and product and how Rihanna does. Rihanna embodies her products, she is close to her audience while Beyonce is too distant.

Normani is stuck in 2019 and think a big stage and a big choreo will do it all when you need way more. You need online content, random performances, club appearance, speaking with her fans, the behind the scenes of the recording process, showing more candid things ect. I'm sure if she applies all of this her fanbase will grow and her sales too. I don't know at what pace but it sure will. We live in a world we're being relatable and being authentic is better than being perfect. And she doesn't get it, she doesn't seem to get a lot of things.

To finish, just look at how Charly XCX is handling her era. She has an private insta account around her album, this is how you create cult following fanbase cause she makes her fans feel special. Then you look at Normanination and ugh… those 12k numbers didn't scare her enough and motivate her to give more to earn more. She lets her fans make up excuses for her and blame anybody but her and is happy with that.

Can she do something

:rip:

Whilst we're discussing fans who have stopped supporting her, what's the main reason that keeps you as a fan?

I've been here and believing in her since 5h days. My delusional side still think she has potential (it's ridiculous to say that when is 28 and I've been thinking that since she was 23yo)  so I don't want to miss the chance to see her become  a superstar and reaching the highest spots. My realistic side tells me that all of this sh*t will never change and she'll be a BIG waste of potential and barely release music and play in some movies.

So who's gonna win ? My delu side or my realistic one ?

I don't understand what's going on ? This is honestly so bizarre . Like even if they didn't have promo lined up for now the VERY LEAST they could have given us the Candy Paint video to keep us fans satisfied for the time being while bringing outsider eyes on her also.

This constant radio silence while only just releasing your Debut album a few weeks ago is really not it !

I fear it's over for normani she just doesn't care enough her next post is definitely going to be a retirement post.

i can't defend her no more. only hope is that maybe the grammy's see this record and recognize it, but **** is in the trash. it's sad to see too.

she also needs to just keep it real bc she's got fans who really support her.

sigh.

she literally could use her socials to get that cult following that will take her far. JT is doing it, JT may not have huge numbers but she's def established a cult fanbase and her whole album is going viral on tik tok.

normani is just… ugh.

:suburban:

Everyone keeps talking about lack of budget, but a camera, tripod and video editing software costs nothing, she could literally film her own performances and post them on her channel

Normani, sis...

I can totally understand her mindset, though. She thinks that everything has to be perfect. The debut album has to be perfect. Performances have to be perfect. I have to look perfect all the time and not make any mistakes in front of the camera. Heck, I'm a perfectionist myself, and it is soooo time-consuming and exhausting. So, I won't be surprised if Normani took this long to release Dopamine mainly because of her perfectionism, and that she keeps saying "videos are coming soon" because she wants to make sure these videos do not have a single flaw to them. Combined with the trash label that is RCA Records, it's just a whole recipe for disaster.

I was the biggest Harmonizer and Normani showed so much personality back then. Those Fifth Harmony Takeover videos were so much fun to watch! Fast forward to now, I don't know if she isn't the same bubbly and cheerful person that we came to know and love anymore, or if she's just suppressing her personality to appear like this cool, calm, and collected girl. She comes across as standoffish by being completely radio silent to her fans. To think, this is how we are treated for a six-year wait for an album? Girl, we do not deserve this. And yes, I respect that she might not like social media or not want to engage, but she has to accept the reality that she cannot make it in this industry if that is the case. Talent can only do so much. She might be working behind the scenes (or not), but there's NOTHING to show for it right now. And even if there's some team or label drama, you can't tell me that she can't do at least one SINGLE post to the fans for reassurance or something.

She really dropped the ball with her career. I still love Dopamine, and I'm still rooting for Normani. But sis, you're not gonna go anywhere in your career with the way things are going. Stop trying to make everything perfect, and just be your true and authentic self. I don't believe that she doesn't want to be a popstar anymore, because how can she not when she has been idolizing Beyonce, Janet, etc. for basically her entire life?

She needs to embrace her inner brat, aka that girl who is a little messy, likes to party, and maybe says some dumb things sometimes. And that's okay!

hold on… WHERE ARE ALL THE INSIDERS AND WHY HAVE THEY ALL LEFT US??? omg they must've knew this was coming… 😨😨

So this is just what I've been gathering. Normani and Co. were hoping that RCA would shell out money to help pay for the era (which includes performances, mv, tour and etc.). However, lieu of her last songs not doing as well chart wise the decided to rescind the notion. Which makes sense; she's in another Jordon Sparks limbo her music in the past has been somewhat popular but not enough to warrant extra money being thrown her way. Also, I'm assuming her old choreographer has left because she wasn't doing anything and wasn't bringing any money in so he went where the pasture was greener ( Cardi B, Vic Monet, and Tate Mcrae). It's safe to say that if CP doesn't pop off her career is pretty much over. Hence why she keeps saying soon and no definitive date. The VMAs may be the only place where she can get some hype back so they're banking on that. Hence why she didn't want to perform at BET so it won't kill the momentum/hype for the performance.

Oh to be this level of deluded must be nice.

Her album peaked at #91 and she's doing nothing. There isn't going to be N2.
