jdanton2 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Normani co wrote the song. https://www.popsugar.com/entertainment/proud-family-louder-and-prouder-normani-video-49071231 Sadly for Uncle Bobby, a "big monsoon of a wave" knocked him off his surfboard mid song, leaving the crowd stunned. That's where Normani comes in. She saves the day by singing a smooth R&B slow song called "You're Lucky I Let You Love Me," which the 26-year-old cowrote with Kurt Farquhar (the songwriter behind the original "Proud Family" theme song).
Motivation93 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Apparently FTN Twitter says she’s really coming this time?
iconiclegend Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 So, in the comparisons of two group members (Normani and Zayn) from the X-Factor, many celebrities are supporting Normani and more American celebrities are following Normani on Instagram, than Zayn (who is only been followed by a few like Zendaya).

What’re we supposed to do with this information?? I mean, thanks I guess..?
Dr. Alexander Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Normani is a beautiful girl and she’s an incredible performer, but I believe her voice is too one-dimensional for R&B. I went through my library on Apple Music and shuffle played “Lonely Weekend” by Kacey Musgraves. She would’ve fit right on that track. I wonder if she ever thought about going that route sonically. Dallas Austin and Babyface are masters at combining soft rock and R&B:

You’re making this judgement based on the few released/leaked songs out there. You’ve heard nothing. Please GTFO.

Is there a specific procedure I have to adhere to? I thought I read everything thoroughly in the Guidelines handbook, including: “Critical comments are welcome” from the Disrespectful Comments section.

How does that work? The selection of records that she's released are not fully representative of her vocal capabilities. Wait until a full body of work from her to make a judgement of how dimensional her voice is

popularmoonlight Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Quite frankly Dr Alexander I doubt anyone in here will agree with your opinion. Feel free to post it but doesn't mean people will necessarely accept it. I think you're wrong too, her tone is not one dimensional and even if her vocals may not be the strongest she sure knows how to use them. That Kacey M song is def not what anyone wants from Normani
Flare Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 So I heard one of the full versions of Candy Paint and yeah…the fact this wasn’t the follow up to Wild Side is actual brain dead behavior by RCA, S10, and everyone who has a say in Normani’s career. That song would have been her official solo Top 10 and maybe even #1. Undeniable bop, fun as heck lyrics, tons of choreo potential. If that’s not the next single with big promo, I’m out.
jdanton2 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 i thought You're Lucky I Let You Love Me was supposed to get released to digital and streaming services. Normani and her team letting us down again.
popularmoonlight Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I'm a lil nervous. Can we please get something
jdanton2 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Normani's manager wining an award. https://www.billboard.com/pro/brandon-silverstein-2023-billboard-power-players-choice-award/#recipient_hashed=a387074cfb2fbcaf8f8b5c6ba7eb9c77851a276d67cb27d677286e26879a70b1&recipient_salt=f4f2ee773ed31913826671a29e33307d32d8d9c03bb1a03c29c8457d75070500
