Certainly most of Normani’s appeal was bringing us the sound/visual and performances that’s where she was going to thrive. But we got so little and splattered all over for 4-5 years, really a mess looking back at it all

If it was just a random non-single, everyone would love it as an album deep cut. It has QUALITY and it could have been a single but the execution was poor (it should have been a duet with a male artist to really stamp it as a single).

The fact that we've been waiting so long will work in her favor. She's basically infamous at this point. Ppl are angry at her for taking so long but the anger is because of anticipation. If her album is good and they do a good job with lining up performances/ a whole marketing concept for after release.. Her album will sell. Again it will be bc of anticipation and good music. And Normani actually makes good music. Hell, the anticipation is so strong she could almost do a surprise drop. If it's good music, ppl will listen. Trust me!

It's actually good that she's working with select producers because I feel like that's the easiest way to put an album out. Mainly because Harv also has a contract with her manager, doesn't he? So it's better to set up whatever they need to set up to get music released unlike when you work with a lot of differnet producers and your label doesn't want to pay them all. I hope the album only has Harv, Starrah, Nija and Tommy Brown/Victoria Monet. That's it, the perfect team.
