I believe they shot some pro-shot footage of the tour but it's never been released. One theory I have is that we might be getting a documentary of some kind and it might be in there. Was there more singles? I know just about "is it love" and even that is like "half a song" for me tbh They completely f*cked it up in 2012 and again last year.

Is It Love was good but a bit too short. They should have kept up the momentum after the tour and Is Is Love started to pick up again in numbers.

OK, I thought singles after Tattoo, cause that one I consider the ESC track and not necessarily an "album" track if that makes sense haha However lets see, if she will deliver full album and if it will be good, or just another single and then nothing
AlexLockhart Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Just imagine if she re-record Neon Lights for the album like she did with MHIRM and Sober in 2012 *delulu*

I think that the problem right now is the lost momentum. Don't get me wrong, I know that Loreen is signed to huge labels like Universal, Island Records, Polydor Records and her management team is frickin TAP Music, but I still feel like they didn't capitalise on anything. They could have promoted Tattoo in US or Brazil (thanks to the brazilian version), have Loreen do more appearances and interviews around Europe (and even other countries), release more music etc. I truly support Loreen's strategy by releasing music when she feels like it. It's better to release good songs even if it takes more time than releasing bad songs often. But come on, I really doubt she has recorded any bad songs during the last year, she obviously has many options. It's just that her and her team couldn't capitalise Tattoo's success which is a pity imo. I really hope that her new single will make more noise in Europe, Is It Love was cute but I wouldn't describe it as a European hit.
Mordecai Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Loreen has to be up there alongside Azealia Banks when it comes to the greatest missed opportunities I've seen in popular music. She at the very least should've had a Zara Larsson sized career. Could you imagine if she did a collab with Avicii? The absolute collapse that would've been I hope she's got something new to give us at Eurovision next week
Danai G Posted May 5 Posted May 5 The new album will come next year...There go my hopes for an album announcement during Eurovision and album promo in her festival tour this summer. 🥲 Oh well, we should be a little bit more patient. A new single is coming very soon and Loreen will most likely perform in the Eurovision Grand Final. So, at least we have some things to look forward to!

Her new single is being released by Promised Land Recordings - an indie label in the UK.

I doubt that Universal or Island Records didn't give her any freedom. Is It Love was a great tribute to her roots and heritage and I don't think that they limited her in terms of budget. Oh well, let's wait to see if we'll learn anything new. Although to be honest, it's sad that she signed to such a smaller label. I doubt that she'll receive the promotion she would had she stayed in Universal but maybe I'll be proven wrong.
nathanspears Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) I'm not quite sure what has happened with the label situation. She's left Universal Music Sweden + Island Records but still seems to be with Polydor and some other regional Universal labels. Promised Land Records seems to be involved with Sony so they aren't completely indie. She's still with Tap for management. I'm hoping they release music consistently this year. I was confused and frustrated about not getting an album this year but if there's been label difficulties then it makes more sense. It also makes a lot more sense now why the start of this year was quiet. I was shocked at the tour announcement for next year (a Madrid date did pop up randomly a few weeks back but I assumed it was a mistake). I'm more than happy if the strategy is to release singles and collabs this year and then an album just before the next tour. The roll-out of Forever has been good so I'm feeling optimistic with this new label! Edited May 12 by nathanspears 2

I just hope that the new label will give her decent promo. The roll-out was definitely not bad but I think it still made zero noise. I mean, even her interval act didn't cause much interest although in a Eurovision year like this one, I think that people wouldn't pay much attention to the interval acts. Is she still signed to Polydor Records? They have posted nothing about her.
Danai G Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Unfortunately the interval act did not boost Forever's streams as much as I hoped so...
Danai G Posted May 16 Posted May 16 A new interview just dropped, I think that this is one of her most personal ones. She talks more about her personal life and I think that she gives lots of interesting information and insight. This interview just proves that she's modest with her achievements in life and that she prefers to focus in her wellbeing rather be a music machine if you know what I mean. As much as I'm rooting for her, I respect her decision to release more songs when she feels like it and take her time to do so.

Let me read -------- I was just thinking the other day.... like, imagine if she announced the tour right after her win. She would have probable moved to bigger venues or she would have done double dates. But going on social media silence + not releasing + only posting peace & love stuff hurts her a lot.

Tbh, I don't think that big venues would work for her. The capacity of the venues in this tour is pretty small, with some exceptions of course. She prefers an intimate atmosphere, no wonder she booked smaller places. Yeah, it's true that her management is not helping a lot but at the end of the day, that's her decision. She chooses to remain inactive or not, release often or not etc. But her management team can always promote her.

According to another forum, Loreen has gone independent and has appeared alongside 'Oberoende' on Swedish Charts/Sverigetopplistan https://swedishcharts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=s Isn't she signed to Promised Land Records?

Danai G Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Just saw some videos from Loreen's performance in Jelling musikfestival. Loreen was amazing, I love the outfit and I am curious to see the full setlist. My only slight complaint was the crowd, in Jupiter Drive and My Heart Is Refusing Me many of them didn't care at all...
nathanspears Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Yeah, the crowd at this first festival wasn't great. I think she was also taken aback slightly. You could tell the energy wasn't quite there. I'm sure Birmingham Pride will more than make up for it 2
