I just feel like she's been showing the progress for so long (and recently) that it is still being worked on. And I get a terrible feeling that it will be mute for the rest of the year. I was hoping she would use the 2023 anniversary and recertification of the Pure Heroine era after 10 years, to release new music, but that didn't happen. I'm thinking that if we were getting a summer release, we probably would have seen some hint of a release coming, perhaps a festival booking or something. Knowing her, progress might mean she had four songs that she liked and another 2 that will get the "precious metals" treatment. Perhaps we already heard those two songs at the festivals she did last year. I wouldn't rule out late 2024 release. Unless she posts something in the next couple weeks, I think northern hemisphere summer release is not happening. Fall would be the only option if it is happening this year. I'm noticing more and more that she will post as if something is arriving soon, but based on the timeline she is sharing way too prematurely. 1
