It seems like a transition from another song. 

that outro is kinda one of the best moments in her discography

She's no Shallow, but it does its job. I like some parts of LOVE others.  So powerful. 

 

And no, it won't be a hit. Get that out of your heads. 

That last minute is truly an orgasm. Wanna get ****** with a guitar

So powerful! Her most vocally demanding song ever.
 

I’m honestly scared for her live performances of it though. 

Definitely a film soundtrack.
 

- The intro was unnecessary. 
- Love the vocals felt like her 2010-2013 vocals

- I expected her to fully go there at the end but…

 

Overall its good but those hyping this at as the next Shallow look dumb asf rn.

my only thoughts are the intro ofc   and I just wish the chorus had a stronger melody, like something that will get stuck in your head if that makes sens

Very good song but it's no Shallow/ARUTW/INLA/ITA and it's all BloodPop's fault

I can't lie, I'm a lil disappointed with the chorus and I don't think this sounds like a hit per se. The ending especially, there's no melody, just ad libs. Maybe it's a grower though. 

 

So my "fake chorus" was this, which I put together based on the melody in the preview she shared on Instagram. I thought the "I won't let go till the end" bit was the start of the chorus:

The intro made me think my earphones broke so I had to pause.

 

I like it! I think it needs to grow on me a bit. The prechorus is gorgeous. I wish she left the belting till the very last chorus, instead of doing it for all of them, especially the first one. 

It becomes better with each listen. It is no perfect illusion. The chorus is catchy

I'm glad she din't try to mimic Take My Breath Away like she did with INLA and Whitney. That's tacky. 

 

She already has her iconic movie tracks. 

Whoever said it's Before I Cry 2.0 was right!

So good and beautiful but not that catchy. Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll smash but prove me wrong again queen.
