Lady Gaga

Yeah LG7 definitely isn't the title, but thinking of a reality where it was makes me squeal a bit. :skull: If there's one thing about Gaga we know at least is that she has too much integrity as an artist to call her album LG7. And yeah, the slurry of mentions of "chaos" isn't a coincidence. Definitely something to do with the title.

I'm fairly certain the title will include "chaos" or some variation of it. She keeps repeating the word "chaos" nonstop, which can't just be a coincidence. She's not usually that cryptic, either—just like how she started saying "born this way" repeatedly around the release week of Alejandro and continued from there.:dies:

and like she say "born this way" on the vma stage BEFORE winning the VOTY category and reveal that this was actually the title of her magnum :gaycat4:

i'm fairly certain too sis :jonny5:

I know they weren't together but their voices blend so well in Last Christmas.

I haven't listened to rendition of SKATT yet, but I'm assuming she sings it in her sultry jazz voice?

What if it's C.H.A.O.S. as an acronym? "Cathartic Harmonies Agonizing On Symptoms":ryan3:

I want the DWAS conversations wrapped up by NYE...

Oh, that song is not going anywhere anytime soon. Chances are, by the end of 2025, it'll still be in the Spotify top 10.

Something I haven't really talked about on here, and I'm ready for the downvotes :jonny5:  but I kinda don't like the Disease MV much, I like the scene with the walls (and the look) and the scene where she tortures herself with the chains (and the look). But the rest of the MV looks off to me, the looks are kinda meh, the camera work/cinematography is kinda meh and overall it looks messy to me.

The MV is not as bad as SL or MR obvi, but I hope 2nd single MV is much better and more cinematic ngl.  I like the setting in Disease MV, the suburban street and the car, especially the opening shot. But I feel like the demon/scary visuals are too on the nose and I feel like they look bad on that bright background. And that make up look with the lips that are drawn... I really hate it :skull:
The part where artpop Gaga is fighting Stefanie is just messy and does not look good at all to me. I don't like DemonGa either, it's giving You and I Gaga being inejcted by Taylor Kinney etc.

I am kinda shocked the fanbase loved the MV so much, because the day the MV came out I was kinda underwhelmed and disappointed :skull:  Gave it many chances to grow on me and it just never did.

Thankfully the song is a masterpiece though, but I honestly think the MV did it no justice at all and might have even turned some people off.

I agree with all of this. The video is fine but not my favorite. I low-key still believe the rumors there were issues with the video and that's why it randomly came out days later in the middle of the week.

Disease isn't her best video, sure, but I quite like it actually. The only issue I ever had with it was I found whatever the storyline to be hard to decipher but that might be a me problem. :skull:

Taking her more modern videos into consideration, I enjoy it more than say, Rain On Me, as an example. I find it more visually interesting and I was actually glad it wasn't over choreographed in a dancing sense. That I found a strange want from the fans I'd have to say. :skull: And that's not because I think she's a bad dancer, it's just I'd take storyline (or some sort of message at least) over dancing any day.

I was going to lowkey agree with your post, but then you started whacking the looks so I had to take it back :biblio:

The looks in the Disease MV (and this era in general, so far) are some of her most interesting she's done in years. Sure it's a little on the nose, but I think it fits with the style and sound we've heard from all of the snippets so far, and makes sense for the direction she seems to be going for this era. And it doesn't feel like a retread, which is probably the most important part  :giraffe:

It's okay to disagree sis, I don't like the look with the drawn lips I find it really amateurish looking and the demon look is idk it's supposed to look disturbing, but I just don't like it, but the final look where she is between the moving walls is amazing! The look with the chains is also cool.

Conceptually disease is more interesting and creative than ROM MV, but I couldn't stop watching ROM MV while Disease MV has no replay value for me, but like I said it could be directing/cinematography/camera work issue idk tbh. Gaga has too many MVs with choreo so I agree about that, but to me Disease doesn't really stick out as a unique MV in Gaga's videography like 911 for example.

I do get that Disease maybe lacks a bit of the replay value that ROM had. Also agree about 911 sticking out, I think for all the right reasons. It was the right balance of being visually attractive, shot well and I liked how the ending tied everything together and made the storyline clear. Whew 911 really was a moment, actually.

Disease is too good to not have a c*nty choreo, even 10 seconds would have sufficed. Something like Grimes's Violence short choreo scene was a collapse at the time. Just my thoughts 💭
