Someone on Twitter pointed out that DWAS did suffer from the rolling effect on radio this week. Since last week's update was so big, DWAS was always going to be rolling from that. Though AC playing Christmas music so ******* early probably did more damage. Radio still playing ABS as much as they do is ******* irritating though.

DWAS is doing great enough for a pure pop song, giving the current format, unless you can have all the three main pop formats' #1 at the same time, pure pop songs are hard to land a #1 radio hit anymore.

Every other genres can take the pop radio space, meanwhile their exclusive format is all theirs, so pop songs always play catch ups. Hopefully DWAS can pull it off next early January like Cruel Summer did at the start of 2024.

 

If HAC and AC resort back to older hits like espresso and too sweet than DWAS after Christmas istg

28th would be cute for the album only because my birthday is the 27th so would feel a little bit like a birthday present in a way. But also a disaster since I really don't want to be waiting until the last Friday of the month again. I actually think the smartest thing would be to release on January 31st and get some hype from the Grammy's on Feb 2nd, but that's not gonna happen so...

While she would serve immaculate taste with choosing Zombiefied, I'm way too much of an Abracadabra stan to not push its narrative as the perfect second single

Yeah if you want Abracadabra to debut at #67 and tank the album release, sure let's go with that as 2nd single.

It's too early to tell, but Rio's mayor is teasing a Gaga concert... at Copacabana Beach next year. Madonna did in May, it was her biggest concert ever and one of the biggest concerts of all time with over a million people attending.

 

 

If this happens it'll be her biggest concert ever and one of the biggest concerts of all time by any artist, it's HUGE

Feb 14 seems to still be open for LG7's release.

 

The main concern with that date would be Kendrick's SB boost bleeding into that week but now that his album has been released, at worst he'll have a song or two blocking Gaga on the charts (& I don't think we're aiming for a #1 song this era anyways).

 

Valentines Day would be cute on considering Michael's involvement in the project too. She has to announce ASAP though & let the pre orders build.
