I'm so sad I didn't get to see possible interaction between two of my faves. Taylor is a lover iktr I've been seeing so much praise for X recently on and outside of this forum

She also rejected being a guest on M's Rebel Heart tour She was just doing **** in 2015-16 Thank god she's back to her socialite ways (Plus being a successful legacy act, which is difficult to be, not every veteran has that to their credit) Edited January 29, 2023 by ATWK

She needs to drop the wavey, crimped look she was going for recently. That (plus the botox swelling) made her look weird even if the outfits were c*nty, this is much more of a serve.
Virgos Groove Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I like to listen to house. I'm a house... hearer.

ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted January 30, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted January 30, 2023 ROL still remains her strongest 90s album. Tbh, KM94 has fallen out of favor with me after realizing the version I illegally downloaded at age 17 was actually where WITF/Falling/WHTLG were replaced with remixes. Hearing the original version is still jarring to me. It's not as good!
Red Light Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I started listening to Kylie over the weekend and have listened through her discography twice so far. This is my album ranking from worst to best, just based on those first two listens (except for Disco which I discovered early last year). 14. Kylie (1988) 13. Let's Get to It (1991) 12. Enjoy Yourself (1989) 11. Kiss Me Once (2014) 10. X (2007) 9. Body Language (2003) 8. Aphrodite (2010) 7. Rhythm of Love (1990) 6. Golden (2018) 5. Fever (2001) 4. Kylie Minogue (1994) 3. Light Years (2000) 2. Disco (2020) 1. Impossible Princess (1997) I also did average ratings for each album but I definitely need to fix my scoring system first. (Impossible Princess only ended up with a 7.5/10 and it's one of the most perfect pop albums I've ever heard.) How does this match up to the general stan opinion? Do the gays hate Golden? I don't know how Kiss Me Once wasn't in last place for me because that's the only one that I truly hate.

One of the few good tracks on KM94 It's not even that the album is bad, it's just that the boring songs are so looooong that it makes the whole album feel overlong and bloated.

I think most fans would agree with your ranking, except they would rank Aphrodite and X higher, and Light Years and Disco slightly lower (also put Fever in the top 3). Golden is kind of the middle child of the Kylie albums family, not really hated but also not adored. I personally love it, her best post-2010 album imo. Kiss Me Once is unanimously agreed to be her worst post-PWL album though. I still like it though, but I do see its flaws clearly.

Body Language is a bit low but that one’s a love/hate kind of ordeal.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted January 31, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted January 31, 2023 Mine would be : Fever Rhythm of Love Body Language KM94 Light Years Disco Impossible Princess Kylie X Aphrodite Let’s Get To It Kiss Me Once Enjoy Yourself Golden (sorry lol) Top3 & Bottom3 are definitely on lock, the rest changes a lot

I've grown to like it and its campiness over the years, still I find it to be very bloated and has a lot of filler, some of which I find ubearable (disco needs you and kids). Would've worked a lot better as a 11-12 track album. Fever is her strongest record no doubt, outside of Give It to me every track is at least a solid 9/10. I still however much prefer the character and sound of Body Language as a whole, even though it has a couple duds (still standing, sweet music ). I wanted to replace them with some of the bonus tracks which are great, but I found they didn't quite fit in and the album just didn't flow. Aphrodite is a interesting case for me because I like the concept, but it's just all over the place with the tracklisting. I changed it in my iTunes and it's like this: 1. Aphrodite 2. Get Outta My Way 3. Put Your Hands Up 4. Closer 5. Looking For An Angel 6. Cupid Boy 7. Everything Is Beautiful 8. Illusion 9. Better Than Today 10. Can't Beat The Feeling 11. All The Lovers (I hate Too much) Idk I feel like it makes more sense and is more narrative driven : she's a femme fatale -> finds her lover -> things are a bit iffy but they make it through -> she's never felt stronger for anyone before.
skizzo Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I adore Your Disco Needs You I agree Kids doesnt fit the album, and it kinda cut into OANLT single performance by overshadowing it on radio and tv, which I didnt like.
Winged Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Body Language Light Years X Aphrodite Disco Stream Me Once Fever
