Looking at daily difference the ep was probably streamed around 2-3k times. DTY also had a tiny bump after the performance.

Honestly I don’t think it would have happened without the delay of chemistry. Kelly mentioned that the record label was giving her space but also she needed to release something so this was the compromise. But I’m grateful for it cuz it’s awesome to have two different type of Xmas albums that people stream. Not many do. Mariah has two but the second is barely streamed

Some interesting notes on the streaming at the moment, the chemistry songs on the christmastry ep are noticeably higher streaming than they were before the ep was released / would be if the ep wasn’t released. Will be interesting to see how this plays out the whole season.

 

rockin’ around the Christmas tree is the second Christmas song that has exceeded its entire number of streams from last year.

Does anyone know what the SPS number is for UTT? It would have to be multi platinum eligible in the US at this point right? 
 

Also I’m hoping WCCA album will be eligible for a gold certification soon.

It surely must be! It’s double platinum in uk - but uk automatically certified rather than label paying for it. For a rough estimate, consider 3 major music providers, Spotify apple and Amazon (Amazon apparently biggest for Xmas music). 
I did have an old sales tracker spreadsheet but annoyingly I stopped just before WIR and only stopped back there for HBS’s opening numbers :/

 

but UTT has 517m on Spotify (global) but considering every streaming service and sales pre streaming era, 517m/150 (the premium streaming SPS) = 3.5m unit sales, so I wouldn’t be surprised if usa unit sales were over 3m given every other service and digital sales from that period.

 

I really want Atlantic to certify some of her other stuff. I consider certifications better representations of a song’s success. B&B should definitely be platinum eligible now with its streaming and I’d imagine SCYHM must be too!

An interesting set of data (I used to only look at the month of December), obviously differences of thanksgiving falling early/late and weekend days (which normally are lower for her but Xmas music is higher for her)
