How do we feel about The Purge

I like it but it’s also nothing too groundbreaking for them. Was hoping another switch in sound since they’ve been doing this sound since Blood

Also can I just say that I hatedddd Mother when it came out but it highkey has grown on me the past year

Also I am so glad there are no pointless ass interludes on this new album by the looks of the track listing :toofunny3:  I always delete that ish

I actually liked the interlude before TIB :toofunny2:

But I did delete the first interlude and the two covers from mother.

I like the purge. It's heavier than the last two albums and I love the music video. I just wish the clips weren't so back and forth between scenes.

I will say tho that black widow is more industrial and the last two albums were more hard rock than metal.

Yeah I rethought my comment after posting and was like “…hmmm I’m kinda wrong. They might not be vastly different but their albums have not all been that industrial sound since Blood”.

I just want a good ballad :emofish:  we haven’t had one since The Fighter in my opinion

Oh yes the covers. The last couple of albums wasting like 3-4 songs for covers. It’s a no for me. Thank god there doesn’t appear to be any on this album

i liked the cover(s) from Ritual tho! its just the two from Mother that really felt weird. especially the Queen cover. NOBODY can cover Queen right.

I deleted the new album about a month after it came out. Nothing clicked after a few listens and it just didn’t sound like anything new for them

Godmode? I mean true it sounds like something they've done before but it's still good
