Yes all these soundtracks are making me think DL3 might be postponed until the soundtracks are out of the way, even if the album is more or less done.

Pleaaaaaase no Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson. I rebuke it in the name of the lord. Their stuff is so painfully boring and samey.

 

On another note, I'm losing hope for a lead single in April/May. I really thought she would start the era in the spring/around the MET

Argylle is DOA even if it really comes. This will be like Rihanna's Home soundtrack: completely irrelevant and over before it even drops.

 

I could see a Barbie Movie song take off though depending on how catchy and good it is.

It’s a shame the Bond theme song didn’t pan out for her for No Time To Die back in 2018-2020, and it ended up with Billie.

 

Dua would’ve been a perfect fit for Bond, and it would’ve been a natural Oscar nomination for her

FN was released 3 years ago. That’s way too long of a break between albums in the streaming era. She needs to capitalise on the hype she received out of FN & the tour. DL3 needs to be released by May/June at the latest. 
 

I think that what’s taking so long is that she tries to record as many songs as she can to find the superior ones for the album (like she did for FN & DL1 where she recorded over 150 tracks for each album) but let’s be honest, 90% of the scraps that leaked were amazing, some even better than what was released, so she doesn’t need to worry about putting bad tracks on the album cuz she has an ear for hits (except that mistake with NMP )

she was seen with so many producers, etc. in the past few months, shouldn't she have an album sitting ready at this point already

Ugh that's what I'm worried about. All the hype and success with her last album getting to her head so she takes forever to release the next one resulting in a flop. Her witness era is upon us

We know how she works, the first version of the album is NEVER the album, like. The 2019 version of FN was something completely different from what we got (thank God)

 

Making an album is always a process for her where she goes through multiple stages and sounds before settling on something

My main thing is that I don’t get why everyone says she couldn’t release in April/May because of Barbie and Argylle. The Barbie song would just need good playlisting and some TikTok promo, it honestly wouldn’t need like a full on promotion era. 
 

Argylle is a different story but even then, it’s possible to promote your new album while simultaneously promoting a movie.

 

I just dont want her to release too late and lose momentum. Olivia, Billie and Doja are all likely to return this year, she needs to be early

I think they were just PR friends for Prisoner. I don't think they have an actual relationship, but ofcourse certain users would use this as an opportunity to bring their obsession with Dua up again and make it seem like Dua ruined Miley's career

I think they were friends for a bit. Miley even went to that Kosovo festival and we all know she wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for Dua.

They still follow each other on instagram. There’s no feud whatsoever I’m sure.

 

Also, the lead is most likely coming out in September / October. I reckon they want to follow the FN roll out

Yall are a bit too dramatic. Cold Heart was huge last years and I feel we are only now entering a phase where Duas sound is missed.
