She rose to fame following the viral success of her lo-fi single "Pretty Girl" in 2017. Her debut EP, Diary 001, was released on May 25, 2018 on Fader Label. Her debut album, Immunity(2019) spawned the singles "Bags" and "Sofia", the latter became a sleeper hit and her first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Her follow-up, Sling, was released in 2021 and is her first album released under Republic. It received critical acclaim, currently sitting at an average score of 84 on Metacritic with 21 reviews.
